I JUMPED UP OUT Bed, soaking wet. I looked up and saw Steve and Two-bit holding a bucket that was once filled with water. They were laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world. I groaned and smacked them in the face with a pillow making them leave. I walked over to my dresser but didn't find any good outfits so I walked over to my closet and started rummaging through it and I finally found my outfit for the day and I put on light makeup. The door burst open and four girls came running in. Mary, who was Dally's little sister. Me and her weren't as close as she was with Sam. Sam was two-bits twin who was only like 15 minutes younger. Just as I said were friends but she's closer with Mary. Annie was Johnny's younger sister. Me and her were close but she never really opens up to me like Siara does. Siara is Steve's youngest sister, me and her are the closest, We even call each other best friends. "WE HAVE A PROBLEM" Sam said as she sat Annie on my bed. "What the hell happened?!" I said as I put down my mascara. "Annie's boyfriend broke up with her and she tried to kill herself! we need her to stay here so she doesn't try anything." Siara said as she was hugging Annie. "OK Ill be back!" I said while running out of the room and into the basement and I started throwing things around until I finally found it. I picked up the old T.V. that my parents used to use when they were alive. I ran up the stairs and back into my room where the girls were still sitting on my bed comforting Annie. I placed it on my dresser and plugged it in and put in Mary Poppins, Annie's favorite movie. I ran back out and got cake and ice cream, I'm not to good with helping people with breakups but I've seen movies and I guess you get ice cream or just something sweet. I gave it to her and she gave me a small, warm smile. she barely ever smiles but when she does it makes my heart melt. Since it was Saturday we all just layed in my bed watching some of Annie's favorite movie's. My bed wasn't the biggest bed in the world but It managed to fit all of us. Sure, we were stuffed together but it kept us warm. I ended up changing into sweatpants and one of soda's old shirt, since I wasn't planning on going anywhere. well, I was going to go to the movies but that doesn't seem to fun anymore. When we finished the last movie that Annie liked we decided on going to the mall to get Annie new shoes since her's ripped when she was skateboarding. we all changed into new clothes, yeah girls change a lot. get used to it boys. when we finished we all walked out and the gang were all sitting on the couch, pigging out on cake and beer. they were to busy watching Mickey so they didn't notice us until we walked right in front of us. "y'all look good." Johnny spoke up. "thanks." we said in union. the gang looked up and smiled at us. "where are you guys heading off to?" soda said, who was the only person who was sober since he doesn't like drinking. Pony said he gets drunk off plain living,I never know what goes on in Pony's head he's a weird kid. since I was Soda's twin I was older than pony but they act like i'm the youngest, which Is why we get in fights all the time.
"Were going to the mall for Annie, she needs new shoes." Sam said she she hooked arms with Annie who was looking at the ground. "OK be home in 2 hours. be safe, have switchblades." Darry said in his usual dad voice. "OK, common guys!" I said while grabbing their arms and pulling them out of the house, away from the boys. As we were walking a lot of boys whistled and tried to get with us but we mostly ignored them. lets just say one got to touchy with Mary and now he has a broken nose. I guess when they say don't cross a Winston, they really mean it. We finally got to the mall in on peace and we started walking around. We found the boys shoe store so we went in there since Annie wore boy shoes since she wasn't a girly girl. shoot, none of the people I know are girly girls. Well, I know some socs but were not really friends. their just nice to me. We found Annie some white converse and we left the store. We decided to go get shoes for all of us since ours were literal crap. We all got the same shoes so we could all be twins. Then we left the mall and It was already six and we left at four so we started walking home. We were about a block away when I a blue mustang stopped next to us. "My my my, why hello ladies." Bob said from inside his expensive car. I secretly hoped none of the girls would say anything. We kept walking and I saw my house come onto view. I heard the car doors open and about five socs came out and since there was five to five they each grabbed one of us. Bob sat on my stomach and covered my mouth once I was about to scream for the gang. Bob put his hand up my shirt and started trying to kiss me. I moved away and tried to grab my switch when he grabbed my arm and held it tightly. I kept moving so he grabbed handful of my hair and smashed my head onto the cement. Everything got blurry and I suddenly heard yelling and footsteps. The weight was lifted off me and I was now in somebody's arms. I looked up and saw dally. His jaw was clenched and he was silently cussing. "d-dal?" I said barely above a whisper. he looked down and his once dark eyes turned soft. "hey, you got hit pretty hard. You need to rest." he said while looking back up. I nodded with all the strength I had and my head started pounding and soon enough I passed out.
TIMESKIP:
I woke up to the smell of chocolate cake and the sound of Mickey playing on the T.V. I opened my eyes all the way and my head started pounding and my eyesight was blurry. I rubbed my yes and looked around and saw everyone doing their usual thing as if I wasn't laying there. all the sudden four girls came running up to me and asking a lot of questions. "Guys she just woke up, if you yell in her face it'll make it harder for her." Darry said as he pushed through the crowd of girls. they understood and sat on the couch next to me. Darry put a wet rag on my forehead and It instantly made me shiver. "Hey, you OK" Darry said as he put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm OK. What day is it?" I said, realizing how hoarse my voice sounded. "Sunday night." Siara said as she sat next to me and gave me a warm smile that could make me smile any day. A smile tugged at my lips and I looked away. "Um, I'm still kinda tired Imma head up to my room." I said looking away from Siara because she could tell when I'm lying. they nodded and I got up and went into my room. I sat at my desk that held my makeup and mirror and looked at myself in the mirror. my dirty blonde hair was tangled and looked greasy, my bright blue eyes were dark and puffy and my clothes were dirty and stretched out. I sighed and grabbed new clothes and a towel. I opened my door and went to the bathroom where the ground was soaking wet. I sighed again and grabbed another towel and put it on the floor wiping it up. while I was wiping it up I got my foot tangled and I fell. As I sat on the floor I pulled my knees up to my chest and started crying.
why am I not enough for people?
why can't I be skinny and pretty like all the models or socs?
I didn't even remember grabbing the switchblade until it was up against my arm. the cold blade was up against my skin making chills run up my spine. I can't do this again. I promised dally I wouldn't. wait. he probably doesn't even care if I did this. I pressed it against my skin and blood began pouring down my arms and I winced and did another line. I stopped and there was three in total. The pain is still there, why won't it go away? I grabbed my stashed lighter and I began burning my skin. The pain was still there so I just got I just pulled the dirty clothes form my body and turned the shower to hottest point and got in. I sat down and let the water pour all over my disgusting body. eventually I washed my hair and body and got out. I made sure to put on my long sleeve shirt to cover the cuts and burns and I cried myself to sleep.
