Y/n pov Today is my daughter Elaina's birthday she's Turing 4 today and I can't believe my baby is already 4 she's too cute. Zion is currently on tour so he's going to miss her big day but it's ok I guess i do miss him a lot and I know Lay-lay (Elaina's nick name) misses him too.
I woke up to lay-lay jumping up and down on the bed "Mommy mommy it's my birthday" she said excited "I know baby" I said getting up yawning
"Hurry and get your lazy butt up so we can go out shopping" she said crossing her arms
"You are too grown lil lady" I said laughing "But I'm supper cute" she said spinning around the room "Come on let's go get ready so we can go shopping"
I got me and lay lay ready and we wore matching outfits. We looked so cute and I posted a pic to my Instagram

I posted the picture and headed to the mall with lay lay. We got to the mall and she wanted to go to the Disney store Everyone complemented our outfits at the mall and lay lay was having the time of her life getting all these toys and I can't say no because it's her birthday.
"Mommy I'm hungry" she said while walking out of Claire's "Ight baby lets go get something to each" I said reaching for her hand and we headed to the food court area to get something
"I want some Taco Bell mama" she said pulling me towards the line
We got our food and sat down and just had some quality mother daughter time then lay lay said:
"Mommy why is it my birthday and daddy not here" she asked "He's busy baby" I said back "But he could have called or sent a card" she said sadly
"I haven't heard from him all day he's just busy I'm sorry" I said trying to comfort her "Daddy never has time for us..does he not love us mommy" lay lay said while a tear dropped from her eye I picked her up and put her on my lap while she laid her head on her on my chest
"I don't know what to tell you baby" I said back Y/n pov I picked her up and and all the bags and headed outside of the mall holding lay lay She was still sad and I felt bad that most of her life she rarely sees her dad bc he's always working it's sad really and it breaks my heart personally as a mother
We got to the house and I opened the door and sat all the bags down and lay lay was opening her new toys while I made dinner
Then I herd a knock at the door and I went to go open and saw the love of my life standing right in front of with a big smile on his face with a Bouquet of roses and a apple bag
"Zion omg what are you doing here" I said giving him a big hug. He sat the stuff down and picked me and my legs rapped around his torso "I missed my baby and my baby girl" he said putting me down
"Daddddyy" I heard Elaina running to her dad in excitement
"Lay-lay" He said picking her up to a hug "I've missed you baby" he said "I missed you to daddy" she said
"Mommy took me shopping today and bought me new toys" she told him
"She did? Well I got you something too" he said giving her the roses and an iPad
"Thank you daddy" she said taking the iPad to the living room
"Aren't you going to set that up for her" I asked "It's already set up" Zion said back "I missed my favorite dumbass nigga" I said laughing "Watch yo profanity children are present" he said "Shut up nigga" I said walking back to the kitchen I continued cooking when I turned around and saw Zion staring at me
"Tf is u looking at" I said "Did my baby get thicker or.." Zion said examining my body "Zion shut up" I said walking to the fridge to get a soda "I might just have to hit that later" he said jokingly
"Yo ain't hitting nun with that lil 3 inch" I said joking with him "3 inches huh?" He laughed "Yup" I said poping the p "You're so ungrateful you got a fine ass boyfriend with some good dick and had the audacity to saying my shit 3 inches" he said
"Who said u was fine" said looking at him "Damn..it's like that" he said "I love you" I said kissing his cheek laughing
