Chapter 6: The Hogwarts Express

~Ginny POV~

    I was so nervous to tell mum and dad about me and Luna but for some reason I was also exited. It was officially christmas break, so Luna and I were heading to the Hogwarts Express. I had already asked my mum if Luna could come over so that was no big deal. 

On the train we sat with Harry, Hermione, and Nevile. As soon as everyone was aboard the train started along a long ride. As the sweets trolly came by we had stocked up on enough chocolate frogs, every flavour beans, jelly slugs, butterbeer, and jumping  jelly beans to feed all of Hogwarts for a week! As we all dove into the feast of sweets I couldn't help but notice that Luna looked so cute when she ate, almost like a little chipmunk. 

Then I suddenly remembered that I never told Harry, Hermione, and Nevile about me and Luna. So I did the first thing that came to mind, (Luna is sitting closely next to Ginny btw) I pulled Luna in and gave her a little kiss. Then the train car went silent as Luna turned beat red, Which I have to admit was really cute.

 About ten minutes later the SUPER awkward silence was broken when Fred and George busted in. "Why the silence?" they said in unison, "G-g-gin-ny-" started Harry, and I quickly said, "Shove off!" to cover what harry was about to say, "Alright then." they said as they left. Then Hermione said "So, you and Luna... are you a thing now, or what?" before I could deny anything Luna jumped up and said "Sure are! And we're planning on telling Ginny's mum and dad over christmas break." Hermione looked somehow surprised, happy, scary, and REALLY evil all at once, then blurted out, "I HAVE A NEW SHIIIPPPPP!!!!!!" Both me and Luns(Luns is my nickname for Luna) turned bright red.

About two hours passed and Luns was asleep on my lap so I couldn't do much so I just sat there and did her hair in all kinds of ways, until I fell asleep myself. I was woken up by the whistle signifying that we arrived at platform 9 3/4. I quickly packed my things and headed out with Luna. When my mum saw me she ran up and hugged me as usual. And we headed home.

~I'm so exited for the next chapter you've no idea!!!~
