"Willow Hudgens, the time has come for you to step inside the ring and face your destiny."

Ughh it's that same dream again. Why can I not get rid of it. Well I guess I should wake up and get ready before Grandma starts yelling at me about how lazy I am. I drag myself up and get out of bed. I look down at my clothes. A dark red t-shirt and black underwear. I guess I'll need to get dressed before I go downstairs to have my breakfast. I plant a kiss on a family photo of mine laying on my table.

"Maple! Lift me up" She lifts me up gently and we spin together she holding me close to her body. "Look at the dawn Willow!" I take a look at it. The colours are beautiful. It seems like all of them have an own place in the big picture. "I love it Maple. I will always think of you when I see one"

And so I have. Every day I go outside to see the dawn. It has become a tradition of myself. Mine and Maple's who isn't here anymore. My loving and caring big sister Maple. The girl that would gently plant a kiss on my forehead and read me to sleep when I was sad. The girl that would defend me from bullies. She will always have a special place in my heart and I will keep cherishing the memories.

Ughh what is that pain? My bottom lip is hurting but it's nothing I wouldn't have felt before. My grandma once told me she releases stress and pain by screaming. For me it has always been normal to bite my bottom lip. You won't feel the pain at first but when your thoughts dissappear that's when it hits. It's a jamming type of pain. I imagine it would feel the same as a cat scratch. but really I have no experience in this type of things. When I was younger the pain was worse. It would hurt a ton even though I basically caused it myself. Now that I thinl about it. I guess all what I just told you about the pain is from lucid memories. Because like any pain it doesn't last forever.

"You could have tried a little Will" I try to get the image of Maple out of my head. I can't cry. Not today. This day is suppose to be happy and atleast I can try to play my part.

"I don't think it matters", I murmure and sit down on chair my grandma had just pulled out.

We turn on our small tv that is on top of our kitchen counter and start watching the "show".

"Hello. Hi and welcome everyone to this years choosing seremony. Every year all the teenagers that have aged 15 are taken to a camp in the north. At the camp they will discover their real nature through their powers. Don't worry if it's not your turn yet cause there is always a next year. "

I think we should go back to the beginning. Hi my name is Willow but everyone calls me Will. I live in the north part of the city. That's where the security lives. I would describe myself as a normal Hudgens. I've hazel eyes and dark black hair that reaches my shoulders. No freckles or beauty marks for me. When you reach the age of 15 you are taken to the power centre. That's where they will receive powers and get chosen by a proffesor group. There are three main groups plus the leaders. They're health, life stock and security. That's where my parents belong in. They are usually never home and I was practicly raised by my grandma. Well let's get back to the story.

I hear a loud knock on our door and I run to open it.

"Do you happen to be Willow Hudgens?"

I can feel my teeth searching for a good place on my lip. This all came so out of nowhere. Is this the moment. The moment when I will need to leave everything behind.

"Yes, sir.. Sorry I mean sirs, I answer to the two mysterious men in black behind our door"

"I hope you've packed miss because we need you to leave with us"

I thought it wasn't happening till evening but the men's faces tell differently. I go and hug my grandma as this could be the last time I see her. "I love you" she whispers while kissing my head and then let's me from the tight hug. I wish I would have known my life was going to change dramaticly but I was only excited about the future. Oh I knew so little.

What if I don't have powers or what if I won't get in security. Those are the things I'm the most scared about. I have or more like had two sisters and neither of them had powers so I propably shoudn't have really big hopes. Powers are in our genetics. And due to that its most common for all kids from the same family to have similar powers. Also due to that my chance of getting any is low. Too low to have hopes up. No one (except for security) knows what happens to people without powers. I just know that I have never seen my sisters after they attended the camp. I try to think about something more positive but that's when everything turns black.

I wake up in a modern but cosy bedroom. All together I counted 20 beds and they are all under use. Some people are sitting on their beds while some are walking in a circle around the room. I'm just about to stand up when the doors open. A woman that can't be a day over 25 walks in and starts looking around the room with a smile on her face.

"Hi candidates. My name is Mia and I will work as your guide and leader here in the power centre. I'm sorry that we drugged you but we need to keep the centre's location a secret"

Of course they do but still. Drugging?!

"If you think this will be easy you are wrong. If you think it will only be fun then you are also wrong. You are here for a serious reason and I hope you understand that. Your duties as a citizen of Great Austria will start today. Your testing will start this evening. Until that you can try to make friends but just to clarify, there is no way out. "

Yes you heard correct. I live in the Great Austria. I guess I should explain a bit. World wasn't always peaceful. In fact the wars never ended. Between years 2124-2130 World war three was battled. Many poeple lost lives and the world was never the same. Sadly the wars did not end there. Countries became bigger and more powerful. In our part it wasn' t all fun. People from Great Britain immigrated to their allie country Austria. That's how Great Austria became a country. Other countries invaded Great Britain and killed many of us. The worst part is that those wars are still going on just as we speak.

As she finishes the speech she spits on the floor and leaves the room.

I decide it would be the best if I tried to sleep till evening. That way I won't need to socialise and I will hopefully be energetic when the training starts. I take a comfortable position on my bed and soon all I see is darkness surrounding me making me feel free from all the worries.
