Steffon's POV

After our visit to the underground boxing, we decided to drop Anna off at her place before hanging out at a fast food establishment. Demon Ray's victory had made Kristen even richer than before, and he mentioned something he had in mind for Anna's upcoming eighteenth birthday.

It was a rare occasion for me to hang out with the guys. We ordered our food and engaged in friendly banter.

"So, how's Maria doing?" Maurice couldn't resist teasing, causing the rest of the table to chuckle. It was our usual dynamic.

"I heard her latest conquest was Zach, the school's chemistry nerd," Marco laughed, joined by his twin and Kyle.

"Ha, ha, ha, very funny," I scoffed, shooting a glare at the three of them.

"I think she might need help," I remarked after a brief moment of silence.

"Help? The girl's a deranged psychopath," Kyle spoke up. "She parades around like a sweet innocent girl, but she's been with half the school just to get with us. She's crazy obsessed."

"What we want to know is, did you hit that?" Marco asked, unable to contain his curiosity. "She may be crazy, but she's the hot type of crazy," he added, earning an eyeroll from me.

"You did it! Congratulations on losing your virginity, you filthy dickhead!" they cheerfully exclaimed, excluding Kristen, who remained silent. "We were almost afraid you were gay... no offense if you are," Marco quipped.

"She wasn't my first, and I'm not gay," I half-lied, half-told the truth.

She was, in fact, my first, but I would never admit it to them.

"Bro, we know everything there is to know about you," Kyle said casually. "But look on the bright side, it wouldn't have worked out anyway. You would've been dating your own in-law," he tried to sympathize.

"You don't know that. Anna might change her mind about her relationship with Kristen," I objected, defending my feelings.

"Let me make this very clear, Bella is mine. Get it through your head," Kristen stated firmly.

"Not for long," I smirked, which surprisingly didn't seem to faze him. "Who knows, maybe Sebastian's gonna hit that right spot," I laughed, bobbing my head up and down, but deep down, I had no intention of letting that happen.

"Yeah, after the housewarming gift I gave him, I'm sure he will," Kristen responded with an evil smirk, shrugging his shoulders.

"What did you do?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

"Kristen sent a little gift to his mom and dad of Sebastian going at it with his mother's best friend in their parents' bedroom," Kyle proudly revealed, and I nearly choked on air.

"No fucking way!" I exclaimed, completely taken aback. "How on Earth did you manage to get that?" I asked, genuinely intrigued.

"There are a lot of things money can do, my friend," Maurice smirked.

"You guys are a bunch of fucking nutjobs," I remarked, shaking my head.

"What happened between you and Maria?" Kristen inquired.

"I found out about her and Peter," I gritted my teeth, a strong wave of resentment washing over me. The least she could have done was try to hide it, for crying out loud!

"I could tell she was a concubine from the moment I laid eyes on her," Maurice chimed in. "She had that look in her eyes that said she wanted to have a threesome with me and my brother. Trust me, I've seen that look plenty of times before," he emphasized dramatically.

"Well, thank you guys for giving me a heads-up," I sarcastically replied.

"Come on, Steffon, you don't actually take advice from us unless you're in deep shit," Kyle shrugged.

"Yeah, and that's because you're all douches," I retorted.

"It looks to me like she's up to something," Kristen spoke up. "I caught her whispering with Regina," he added, his voice filled with suspicion.

"I think they're both up to something. They're way too close for my liking, and I have a feeling it has something to do with Anna," Kyle chimed in.

I wouldn't doubt it.

"Her own cousin is planning things against her, and Anna has no idea what's going on. That's why we need to keep a lookout for her," Marco said, slurping on his coke. "There's no telling what Mr. Overprotective here will do if something ever happens to her."

"I wouldn't be surprised, considering he's a complete raging psycho," I scowled, my anger towards Maria growing stronger by the minute.

In the past few weeks, Maria had revealed herself to be one of the worst human beings I had ever encountered. She surpassed Regina in terms of craziness. And to think I had once had feelings for her.

"What are your plans if that turns out to be true?" I asked, curious about Kristen's intentions.

"I don't want to jump to conclusions. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but if I find out it has anything to do with Bella, I'll just have to take matters into my own hands," Kristen replied firmly.

"Dude, can't you act more like a teenager rather than a grown-up?" I groaned, finding his serious demeanor a bit frustrating.

"I can't help it. It runs in the genes," Kristen chuckled, displaying his usual cocky attitude.

"More like being pressured to grow up. I mean, how the hell does a parent give an eighteen-year-old a multi-billion-dollar company to run? You haven't even gone through college, and you can't even get to choose your own path. That's just cruel," Marco chimed in, sympathizing with Kristen. "At least we get to choose our own path."

"It's either that or have them give another family member my own heir to run, and I'll be damned if I let that happen," Kristen responded determinedly.

"So, what about Maurice, Marco, and Kyle?" I inquired, shifting the focus to their lives.

"Yes, Marco, tell him about the girl you made out with a few nights ago," Maurice smirked, and they all burst into laughter.

"It was nothing," Marco groaned.

"We went to Rave nightclub this past Thursday, and instantly this gorgeous blondie caught Marco's eye. Seconds later, they were making out, and he took her to one of their private VIP rooms. But Marco felt something poking him where the sun doesn't shine, and it turns out he was making out with a dude," Maurice revealed, and I couldn't help but grimace at the unexpected twist.

"I was already drunk by the time I reached the club, and none of you guys bothered to inform me!" I exclaimed, feeling left out.

"Why should we, when we could always turn it into a very exciting story?" Kyle laughed, reveling in their mischief.

"McCarthy was right about you guys. You're all a bunch of douches," I scolded, frustrated by their nonchalant attitude.

"And you're included," Kristen retorted.

"Wait... Kristen, isn't that Anna and Scott?" Marco pointed out, diverting our attention to the sight he had noticed.

"Fucking hell," I whispered, my heart sinking as I saw Anna and Scott together.
