"Kristen?" I whispered, still unsure if I was hallucinating or if this was actually happening.

"Correct," he replied, and without wasting a moment, I launched myself into his arms.

We stayed tightly embraced, finding solace in each other's presence. The warmth of his skin enveloped me completely as tears streamed down my cheeks and my body trembled beneath his touch. Eventually, we broke apart, but I continued to gaze into his eyes, needing confirmation that he was really here.

"Are you really here?" I whispered, wiping away the tears that stained my cheeks.

And true to the Kristen I knew, he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me with a passion that reignited all the dormant emotions within me. Our lips locked, and I snaked my hand around his neck, tangling my fingers in his soft, sleek hair.

His tender kiss sent shivers down my spine, and I held onto him tightly, craving his touch, wanting him to consume me entirely, skin against skin. I didn't want him to let go. Waves of passion surged through my body, setting every inch of my being ablaze.

He finally broke the kiss, and I groaned disapprovingly, yearning for more. But before I could protest, he looked at me with admiration and kissed me once more, leaving me breathless and hungry for his love.

"I thought you hated me," I whispered, tilting my head down, afraid of the answer I might hear.

"I could never hate you, princess. Yes, I was angry when you left me, but deep down, you were the only one I could think about since that day," he confessed, circling around me and holding me from behind.

"What changed your mind?" I sighed, relishing the feeling of him holding me in his strong arms. It was the most contented I had felt since our breakup.

"A few things changed my mind," he replied, inhaling against the nape of my neck.

"First, it was the realization that today was your birthday. Second, I came to my senses and understood that you were worth fighting for. And third, I learned the truth from McCollum about why you broke up with me," he explained, pulling me around to face him.

"Why couldn't you have come to me, Bella? You know I would have handled the situation," he answered, his voice filled with a mixture of concern and regret.

"I didn't know what I was doing, Kristen. You were so good to me, and I got scared and impulsively did what I thought was right at the time. You're the first person who has ever made me feel this way," I confessed, tears welling up in my eyes as I bared my true feelings to him.

"Come here," he whispered, pulling me into a tight embrace, his arms enveloping me in a comforting hold. "Bella, you mean so much more to me than you think," Kristen spoke, his voice filled with sincerity, soothing my anxious mind and filling me with contentment.

"I have something I need to give you," he said, tugging me gently towards the hotel entrance and guiding me towards the elevator. He pressed the button for the seventh floor, and I couldn't help but wonder how he knew where I was staying.

"How did you know what floor I was on?" I inquired, curiosity tinged with a hint of surprise.

"McCollum told me, plus I do have my ways," he replied, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. Despite my initial skepticism, I couldn't help but smile at his playful nature, craving the lightheartedness that he brought to our interactions.

"Where will you be staying?" I asked, my expression turning slightly somber.

"With you," he responded, catching me completely off guard.

His words left me speechless, my heart racing with a mix of emotions. As we entered my room, I noticed his luggage already placed on my bed.

"I won't even ask," I whispered, realizing he could only have obtained my keys from Steff.

Observing him closely, I watched as he retrieved a golden heart-shaped box from his bag. "Happy birthday, princess," Kristen said, his voice filled with anticipation.

"What is it?" I exclaimed, my excitement bubbling over at the thought of receiving a gift from him. He had gone out of his way for me.

"Open it, and you'll find out," he encouraged, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Eagerly, I took the gift from his hands and untied the ribbon. Inside the box, I discovered a stunning necklace adorned with gold and diamonds, shaped like a heart, with the name Kristen engraved on it. My smile widened as I realized how much this gift embodied his unique style.

"I also had one made for myself," he stated, revealing a matching necklace from his own collection, this one bearing the name Bella and adorned with stars.

"It's beautiful! I love it!" I exclaimed, my happiness overflowing. I couldn't help but wonder about the cost of these meticulously crafted pieces.

"I'll handle those three, and if your cousin wanted what was best for you, she would have never asked you for something so selfish," he grimaced, his expression revealing his determination.

"That's true, but what are you going to do? I don't want anything to happen to Maria," I asked, my curiosity tinged with concern. Kristen wasn't known for being the gentlest person when it came to dealing with others, especially when they crossed his path.

"Relax, Bella. Nothing will happen to Maria, and tonight is about you. Let's not dwell on it," he reassured me, his voice filled with a sense of authority and protection.

As he spoke, he gently placed the necklace around my neck, his touch sending a shiver down my spine. It was a brief moment of respite before he shifted the focus to something entirely different.

"Now, let's get down to business," I heard him say, his voice filled with a mix of desire and anticipation. Softly, he kissed the nape of my neck, his hands gripping my waist tightly, exploring my body with a sensual touch.

The intensity between us escalated as we pressed against each other, the darkness surrounding us heightening the allure of the moment.

Kristen's lips trailed a path of kisses down my chest, his height allowing him to reach places from behind that sent electric waves through my body.

We moved together, grinding against each other in a passionate dance, the heat and eroticism of the encounter causing my heart rate to soar within seconds of his tender touch.

In a swift motion, he turned me around, his grip on my waist tightening as he locked eyes with me, silently seeking permission to continue his exploration. It was a moment charged with unspoken desires, and I found myself with no other choice but to.........
