Chapter 2
Dear Diary.
When nothing goes right, do you ever feel like punching someone? (Or at least a wall, but seriously, what did the wall do to you?) It did nothing. That’s all I have remind myself daily.
Daisy
Anne’s POV
I wondered what it was like to walk in someone’s shoes. I always laughed at that comment my mother made, but now it kind of made sense. Kind of. When I was a child, I thought my mother had meant it when she said ‘walk a mile in someone elses shoes, then complain.’ You see, when you are a child you kind of take things as they sound, so when some adult tells you to walk a mile in someone else's shoes, you do it. It was tiring, at least for me. I was five years old, and can you believe it? I was shy. Not one person would believe me if I told them I was once a shy, little girl that got scared when she got lost in the grocery store, I mean now, I am this outgoing, athletic short brown haired girl known as the one girl every guy wanted to date. There was only one problem I had with that, no guy in the face of the universe was going to make me go out with them. I didn’t know one girl I had a crush on, not one. All week it was full of whispers and shouts to me from every guy I saw. It was stares, that I would take and then when I was having a bad day, I’d glare at them, and when they noticed I’d act all innocent so they would think I had multiple personalities just for the effect they would stay away.
A/N: I like the feel from the tone she says, but I admit, I may have used multiple personalities the wrong way. I didn’t mean to offend, so I’m sorry if I did. Love you all!
I laughed as the usual trouble maker folded a paper plane out of the lesson and threw it in the direction of the teacher lecturing and when it hit their shoulder, she looked away and pretended to be taking notes. It was classes like these that cheered me up to the highest of all, where something little brought me high into the sky, and no, if you’re thinking I am on drugs, think again. People can be happy without drugs! You know it’s right stop arguing.
Classes were fun, but lunch was the most entertaining out of all the school. If you listened hard enough and concentrated, you could hear a lot of the random conversations people have during lunch. Sometimes it had the ability to make me laugh my head off. (Oh, and never use that phrase in front of a child, they are probably scarred for life after that.)
“Oh my gosh, I got this new backpack and my sister, so clumsy, she spilled all of her coffee all over it. She’s such a clumsy girl, right?” Was the first conversation I had heard. I laughed, making my stomach pull and tighten easily.
“I can’t believe he did that. Giving us a test today without any warning? No teacher should do that, students need preparation.” A boy said. It was clear where that was coming from. The corner where all the nerds hung out. It was nice, at this school no one was mean to each other, it was actually a good school compared to others where people were pushed into tight spaces, or locked into their lockers all day. This school is pretty amazing, to say the least.
I always wondered what it was like to be quiet, it was not me. I see girls and guys that never talk, and I see girls and guys talking too much. I mean, how could you NOT say anything for the whole day? It sounds so hard! Let’s see if I can do it, shall I? Yes, of course.
A/N: Hope you enjoyed! I know I did! It was really fun writing this chapter! Next chatper they meet! :) YAY!
