2:15pm

The drive was quiet and uneasy. Seulgi sat rigid in the back, staring out the window.
"This is freaking nuts." Taemin thought to himself. As he rounded the corner, the building rose into view.
Taemin put the truck in park and hopped out of the drivers side. Unconsciously he put his hand to the gun on his hip, grounding himself with its presence there as he continued around to the back of the truck where he unlatched the tailgate.
Seulgi used her foot to push open her door and waited for Taemin. Utter annoyance was spelt across her face even behind the heart shaped shaders.
Taemin unfolded the wheel chair he had borrowed from the local hospice and rolled it to Seulgi's door. Her arms shook on the arm rests of the chair as she attempted to hoist herself into her seat. When Taemin assisted her, she resisted and in doing so, the wheelchair moved out from beneath her.

"Stop being so stubborn, dammit!" Taemin said as he caught her. Seulgi let out a sigh and crossed her arms, understanding but unwilling to comply.
"You have a death wish don't you." he said.
She didn't reply.
Taemin rolled Seulgi  through the front door and into the elevator. The blood in the foyer and hall way had been cleaned up, but the second floor was not so clean.
The silver doors slid open and yellow tape flashed warnings across any affected part of the scene.
The cops had not been thorough. In fact, the authorities had already left the scene a few hours prior, leaving no personnel to guard the evidence.
As they rolled forward Taemin leaned down and whispered into Seulgi's ear,
"We need to be quick, EXOs could be here any minute." He said.
Seulgi squeezed the chrome hand rests of the wheel chair and grinded her teeth.
The crunches of the wheels over the glass shards and pieces of dry wall accompanied the pair and their thoughts down the long corridor.
Taemin stopped pushing.

"We're here." he said.

The destroyed door stood ajar, only a crack of light shining through, hinting at the horror behind there.
The door now seemed immense to Seulgi.
She took off her sunglasses.

"Open it." She said.

Taemin pushed softly, a chorus of broken glass chimed beneath the door. Sunlight poured in through the windows and the wind blew the curtains gently. The desk was still tipped, the room still a mess, but there was something solemn and beautiful in the room's revealing.
Seulgi pushed herself inside, stopping beside the desk. Dried blood was caked into the floor boards and all she could do was stare into it. A deep pool of dark red.
Looking at the number markers signifying varying matter, Seulgi knew.
"Do you know where they took her body?" she said softly at almost a whisper.
"After the autopsy? Probably to her family."
Seulgi's heart began to pound deeply.
"She has none." she said.
The wind blew softly around the duo. Painting Seulgi gold in her pain and anger.

"We have to g-" Seulgi mumbled.
Her head now hung so low she was nearly laying in her own lap.

"I'm sorry?" said Taemin, not catching what she had said.

"We have to get him back!" She shouted. Her breathe was heavy and labored and her eyes were wide in shock.

"It's okay to cry and mourn, Seulgi..." Taemin reached his hand forward to comfort her.

"No!" She yelled, "I will cry when everything is set right!"
Taemin stepped back, his heart heavy and grey. Old pain stirred up, forgotten promises, revenge.
"You can't possibly be serious!" He knelt beside her. "This is SM we're talking about, his influence is across the city. He sent one of his favorites to murder you, Seulgi, and he almost succeeded! It's imposs-"
