FIVE
___________

I stepped out of the car first then looked around. The town's landmark was decorated beautifully. Christmas trees and colourful lights were placed all over the roadside and the buildings. It was different than the afternoon when I had lunch with friends.

It was much more beautiful at night.

There are so many people on the streets and in the shops and restaurants. So many people aka couples spending this Christmas night together.

I then looked over to Jimin and felt my cheeks warming up. We came by ourselves too. We weren't a couple but seeing us together, people would assume so.

That was why I keep my distance when walking with him. I placed both of my hands at front, holding my purse. While Jimin, both of his hands were tucked in his jean pockets.

Our walk was silent just like in the car. However this time it was an awkward silence. Maybe both of us noticed how everyone around us are lovely couples but we are not.

We are in an unknown relationship.

"So, have you figured where we are going to eat?" Jimin asked after a long silence in a long walk.

I stopped then looked around once again. The restaurants were packed and I regretted for not making a reservation. I did take our second dinner lightly. I was ashamed of myself again. I wanted to pay him back with a dinner yet I didn't prepare for anything.

I bit my lower lips as I can't think of any decent restaurants.

I looked up and a conversation with my friend popped up in my mind. She told me there was a nice restaurant on rooftop. Without wasting any time, I fished out my phone from the purse and searched for the rooftop restaurant.

"Wait a moment, I just remember this one, good restaurant." I told him while my fingers were fast in clicking into the website and checked the availability of the tables.

I was lucky I found one. I quickly booked it and paid through online banking.

"Lets go." I turned to him with a victory smile. I did it. I reserved a good place for us to eat!

I turned on the navigation to lead us to the place. I was walking very slowly because to be honest, I am not good with directions. I often getting lost even though I was given directions where to go.

Noticing my difficulty to direct us, Jimin leaned closer to me to look at the roadmap.

"First time going there?" he asked, a bit closer to my ear.

I felt my hairs stand at the close proximity and I didn't dare to look at him. I nodded and reluctantly passed my phone into his open hand.

"This way," he figured where to go so easily which amazed me. Maybe because he is a driver and a rider made it easier for him to understand how the navigation app works.

After five minutes of walking, we arrived at our destination. Since it was a rooftop restaurant, we had to climb flight of stairs.

Differ from the outside of the building which was merrier with colourful lamps, inside the building was a little dark. Only dim yellow lamps accompany us along the way upstairs.

"You are not taking me to a creepy place, right?" Jimin broke the silence by jokingly asked me about our destination.

Hearing that, I was a little doubt inside; Whether we were at the right place or not.

"We'll find out together." I shrugged.

Jimin giggled at my response.

"Sure, we either eat together or die together."

I gasped at his audacity voicing out a terrible future reading. I used my purse to hit his back which was just in front of me. He ached but not for long when his giggling sound soon filled the dim staircases.

I was terrified if the latter was to come true. I often glanced to behind me in making sure we will not be ambushed by unknown organisations.

"Hold my hand if you are scared."

I don't like how he always noticed how I was feeling, yet I was glad he offered some help.

Instead of taking his extended hand, I grabbed for the hem of his black bomber jacket. In the dark, it seemed like I can see his face glancing over at me while pulling a sweet smile as he put back his hand in his jacket pocket.

"We are almost there." Jimin said looking up to the bright rectangle shape which we assumed was the opened door.

I heaved out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding in the entire climbing time. Jimin cracked a teasing grin as he handed back my phone.

I shot a warning glare at him as I took back phone. Our staring contest ended shortly after when we were approached by a waiter.

"Did you make a reservation sir?" he asked Jimin, already assuming we are a couple and Jimin was the one booking our table.

I cleared my throat before telling him my name which I put under my reservation.

"Ah.. I'm sorry. This way," the young waiter blushed for his wrong assumption and quickly lead us to our table.

Jimin was holding his laugh when he noticed how proud I was looking for my success in booking a great place during last minute.

Our place located near the rooftop railings which it gave us access to a mesmerising night city view. The waiter was ready to pull a chair for me, but Jimin stopped him. I was confused before getting shy a second later.

Jimin wanted to be the one pulling out the chair for me.

"T-thanks," I quickly sat and threw my eyes to the right, checking out the wonderful view.

Silence greet us once again and when I turned to check on him, Jimin was on his phone, just like our first dinner.

What is so fascinating about it?

Not long after, he put down his phone with a smile then he too, looked at me.

"While waiting, why don't we play a game?"

Have I said he was spontaneous? He is, always full of surprises. Not only with his actions but also his words.

"What kind of game?" I frowned while trying to figure out which game is suitable to play when on the top of a building.

"I'll take that as a yes." He smiled then folded his arms on the table while leaning his face forward.

"Let's play the 10 Questions' game."
