Sparks Fly
Chapter 5
The Akatsuki Bar was incredibly loud and noisy. So much so that you could not hear the announcers on the large flat screens commenting on the Football game playing. Every seat had been taken, and all the tables were packed to their capacity . . . and Naomi loved it. So when she heard about the retirement party for Jiraiya, she accepted the invitation without any second thoughts. After work, she had dashed back to camp to change into regular clothes along with the rest of her crew before hopping into a truck and making their way to the local bar.
Naomi sipped on her Gin and Tonic, not really caring what her crew was talking about but more so scanning the place to pinpoint her next prey. There were so many options to choose from, but one electrician, in particular, had caught her attention. To her, he was very mysterious, and perhaps that was because the man rarely showed any signs of emotion. She saw him smile on the odd occasion, but that only happened when he talked to the pink-haired safety coordinator. Although truth be told, one of the main reasons she was so intrigued by him was when she witnessed him sparring in the gym late one night.
She had been in the corner stretching when she had heard two people come into the already dead gym. Barely giving the two a glance, she had continued on with her routine, but the sudden sound of grunts and something being punched caught her attention. Naomi had sat there in awe as she watched the two electricians from Hyuuga Electric spar, her mouth drooling from the sweat pouring down their muscular, slim bodies. While the blonde one was cute, he did seem a bit on the foolish side; however, the dark-haired one was more the type she usually went after. For over a month, she had been trying to figure out how to approach him. What could she say to him? How to get his attention? How was she going to seduce this one so that she would have him in her room crying out in pleasure by the end of the night?
He almost seemed like a ghost on site. You would briefly see him around, and then the next moment, he was gone. Here at the bar, though, this was the first time Naomi had seen him for longer than two minutes, and he was sitting less than five feet from her. She couldn't help but feel giddy at the thought that perhaps finally, tonight, she would get to sink her claws into him. However, she was slightly disappointed that he still had yet to finish his first drink after an hour. The other electricians were at least three drinks in, but he had barely even gotten half past his first beer.
It's so much easier talking to ones like this once they've had a few drinks in them, but I don't have all evening to wait for him to get plastered. The night is young, and I want to have him for as long as possible. If only he would at least look at me and take his eyes off that safety coordinator, then I could really get this party started.
Her eyes darted about the room as she took another sip of her drink. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a few other men checking her out from the different trades. A loud laugh from the corner of the room caught her attention; four electricians were at a small table and having mini arm-wrestling matches. Rock Lee and Might Guy were going head to head and only focused on their game; however, the one with dark scruffy hair gave her the look. The four empty beer bottles in front of him were a clear sign that he was wasted, and while he was staring at her as if she were a piece of meat, his friend, who was wearing dark shades, whispered something into his ear. Rolling her eyes, Naomi turned her attention back to her prey.
