Tears

80 12 10

Pain's clutching my chest

This is like the game of chess

Every pawn, every move

Is maybe a step

Away from you.

Step after step

Afraid to lose

Terror welled

Knowing I could

Lose something so valuable, which is you.

In one wrong move

The queen or anyone could kill me good

And then it's over

But by this I'm not stronger.

He gave me strength

He gave me rest

He gave me good moves

I told him: "I love you."

Terror, creepy, ghastly feelings I felt towards you

But still I hung on like wood.

For you are my moon

My safe cocoon

My truth

My pool

Of joy with no fools.

So, now, what can one do

When you're so afraid to lose?

Isn't every lost a win for hoops?

Well, I don't think so

I think it's the end of all good

When we're speaking of you...

You are my past, present and future

You are my most precious thing in the world, my boo

Thank you...

But I'm terrified I'll lose thou

Will I lose you?

Tell me, tell me now

I need answers now

Without a speck of doubt...
