Sasuke couldn't sleep that night; yellow untamed hair haunted him, teal-blue eyes seductively looking at him every time he closed his. He had never felt this way before in his life, that was a lie he told himself. Why was he so hung up on the new kid? Why was he having those thoughts?
It was obvious he wasn't going to get any sleep. Naruto didn't even remember him; it saddened him.

He got out of bed and went downstairs for a midnight snack. His brother already awaited him with a pint of chocolate ice cream, Sasuke wondered how his brother always knew.
"Naruto-Kun is it?" the adult mused, Sasuke's cheeks answered on his behalf as they flashed a deep red. Did he still like Naruto that way? He shook his head in disbelief. He didn't, it surely was just his imagination.

"Just wondering how he is doing" the boy shrugged trying to sound nonchalant.

"Well if you must know" Itachi pushed the pint his way and handed him a spoon "he'll be missing school the whole month of April"

Not able to hide his concern upon hearing the news he got up "What's wrong with him?"

"You should ask him" he ruffled his little brother's hair "if you want I can make you his tutor" his smile genuine and inviting.

"Ha," the teenager shortly agreed not wanting to talk more about the subject. He enjoyed his ice cream or tried to enjoy it. Being alone with Naruto was the only thought in his head and for some reason he liked it.

It didn't matter how many times he caught himself feeling queasy because of his classmate. Not the bad kind of nausea but rather one that is associated with nervousness and expectations. he still couldn't control it. So it's true then, he did have a crush on him. If Sasuke was honest with himself, he knew he was head over heels over Namikaze Naruto. He had been ever since the kiss on the cheek he unexpectedly received when he was seven. But Naruto broke his heart at twelve. He truly had.

The next few days he went to school and had classes. He tried to avoid his fangirls and failed miserably yet again. He was setting up Kendo club posters when he noticed he was late for his first tutoring session with Naruto.

He ran to Naruto's; he heard a dog on the other side of the door before he even rang. He rang a few times but there was no answer. He stood there for at least ten minutes and he gave one last rang. He was about to leave when the door clicked.

The boy that peered was nothing like the Naruto he saw the beginning of this week. Dark circles vividly under his eyes, pale skin, greasy hair and chapped lips; there were no words said as Naruto just rushed inside leaving the door open.

Sasuke hesitantly followed, more out of worry than curiosity. He removed his shoes and closed the door behind him. He didn't expect to see a service dog in the house with Naruto. He didn't expect Naruto to be this sick.

It was so quiet around the house that he could hear Naruto's retching. He was slowly inching towards the source of the sound when he heard the flush. Soon Naruto was in front of him.
"I'm sorry," he said weakly. Naruto didn't care at that point; he just wanted someone to be by his side. Was it too much to ask for a friend? "I'm dealing with withdrawal"

"Withdrawal?" his cool voice showed a slight discomfort when he thought the fifteen-year-old in front of him was abusing some substance.

Naruto sighed, he needed to sit down and Sasuke was blocking his way "Antidepressants"
