She picks up her phone and read some news until she came across with the launching of her former company’s virtual game.
Vortex Electronics and Entertainment Incorporation is one of the most successful companies when it comes to innovative gadgets and developing software application. The company was Pin’s baby. She committed all her time and efforts just to contribute to the success of the entity but here she is now, unemployed and miserable… She felt like she was betrayed and she is mad. She got a lump sum of money from the separation pay but it’s not enough. She was embarrassed in front of the many people, I mean, VIPs. Nobody ever listened to her explanation. Well, many employees hate her for being such an unapologetic savage boss. Of course, nobody would ever dare to defend her. They wanted her to leave the company and it finally came true.
Pin is living alone in her mansion and she spent her days cleaning, eating, bathing and just sleeping because she has got nothing else to do. She’s obsessive compulsive. It’s a disease she can’t get rid off. Her house is so clean but she got a little problem on her toilet. It’s clogged. But nevertheless, her place is still magnificent. She worked hard for this house which was supposed to be a gift for her parents but they are not in good terms.

She wonders what are they doing right now? It’s been fifteen years since she had her last conversation with them. It was a painful confrontation she was trying to forget all these years but the memory is still fresh.
Pin is still on her bed looking up the ceiling thinking of all those things - the what ifs, her regrets, her misery. She almost forget that it’s her birthday today. Nobody ever remember and greeted her, not a single message to remind her that it’s her special day today. Anyway, she wasn’t expecting because she knows that everybody hates her. She took a deep breath realizing that she just turned fifty. A year older and feeling hapless.
