Chapter 2 Am I going to Die?

  Gracie Pov: As I walk into the barn heads pop out of some of the stalls neighing at me.
"I know it's hot but I tried to get you guys to go down to the watering hole but you won't sooooo" I answer them.
       Apache snorts from his stall pawing at the door.
    "What's got your panties in a twist bud?... "Ohhhh wait I know it's time for our afternoon ride right?" I smile as Apache snorts again and whinnys.
     I cross tie Apache who nods his head in excitement. Apache is a handsome medicine hat.
    We found him in a auction where he was about to be bought by kill buyers but I bought him before they could. When I first got him he was severely underweight and he had some nasty cuts on him. He also didn't trust anyone but only a couple days of having him he collapsed we still don't know what it was to this day. But while he was down and having a fever I stay by his side the whole night trying to make sure he would make it through the night. My wish was answered when I woke up to a tongue licking my cheek.
     Ever since then we have been inseparable. I was grabbing his tack which consists of his real bridle and a bare back saddle pade. When I head the pups come barreling from where the hay was in a outdoor shed. I smiled when they scrambled over to watch me brush and clean Apache's hooves then tack him up. They quickly moved out of our my way as I led him out of the barn and towards a fenced in area at the side of the for them to hang outside unsupervised.
  "BOYS COME" I called and watch as they bumped each other in gate.              "Good boys, I'll be back soon" I called as mounted Apache who was standing almost perfectly still except for him  practically dancing in place.
    As I trotted past the open kitchen window on the side of the house I called "Mom I'm going for ride!"
    "Okay sweetie be careful,be back before sundown" she called.
    Quickly I urged Apache into a gallop "Come on boy let kick the dust up." We galloped for miles the trees blur around us, I fell the power of Apache galloping beneath me, and the wind blowing through my hair. I felt free, truly free. Soon we came to a halt by dense set of trees. I felt Apache quiver beneath me. All to soon I notice the noice or the lack of it. It sounded as if time stopped around us and all I can hear are Apache's frantically beating heat along with mine.
    I quietly gazed around the dense forest before my crystal blue eyes connected with red eyes that seemed to look into my soul. I couldn't look away with those eyes....they look so full of pain and anger. Before I could ponder on my thoughts any longer a low growl sound through the silent forest which caused Apache to tear up a let out a loud shriek and bolt forward. Luckily I had my hands tangled in his mane, so I didn't fall off. As he tore through the forest the growles and snarls sounded closer. I felt a hot breath on the back of my neck. As I glanced back I couldn't help think "Am I going to die today?".

??? Prov: I ran from the gaint building full of pain. I was going to follow the man onto the roof but decided against it at the last moment. I ran for I don't even know how long. Till I needed to rest which I found a dense forest to rest. As I laid down to catch my breath I heard soft thudding sound. As I peared outside the brush I gazed into the most kindness eyes I have ever seen, a human girl.As I moved closer still not breaking eye contact. A growl slipped past my lips before I could think. The beast under her ler out a terrible shriek, rearing up and took off before I could get any closer. I took off after her trying to gain a on her. "I must have her" I growled.

~Hi, I know it's been a long time. Well I had LOTS of family stuff going on and I have been meaning to get back into writing my book but been really busy. Sooo since I still see some people just added my book I want to give you guys a new chapter to read. So I hope enjoyed it. I'm going to try to update more and I might also publish more books.
