" C'mon Sia, loosen up! We don't want you to get you in trouble right" he sneered, chuckling to himself.
" Leave me please,I beg you...Don't-"
he ignored her pleas and thrust his length inside her.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Sia screamed, jolting up from the bed. Her whole form was covered in sweats. She looked around profusely only to find that it was another nightmare, another sleepless night.. a tear escaped her eyes as she clutched her shirt tighter. It was painful, those monsters don't even spare her in her dreams.She couldn't escaped the reality no matter how much she tried. Sobs racked through her whole body and she cried her eyes out.
She was brought up by the Swans only with a dark purpose that tainted her entire life. Her mother had left her when she was a baby with her namesake of a father. He had shown only repulsion and hatred all throughout her entire existence, same goes for Rebecca and Kesha. If it wasn't for Olly who nurtured her, she would have been long gone before. And she only wished for it.
When she turned 7 she got the biggest shock of her life, Collin had told Olly to prepare her for a dinner party, Little Sia was excited. she had never been to any gathering before unlike Kesha. She had heard what Kesha told her friends about many yummy foods and candies at the party and she had always wanted to visit one but later she wished she never went.
Olly had dressed her in a pretty pink frock with sparkles all over, her tiny feet was clad in a white stockings and pink pumps. Olly had also placed a little tiara as an accessory. She felt like a princess. Rebecca and Kesha went along as well.
When they reached the venue, people would stop and watched her, ask her name. "What a beautiful child?" they would say. She would shyly hid behind her father's back and Collin would be busy playing an Oscar winning father of the year show. She was so innocent back then and didn't realise the hidden agenda behind all the show.
She even make new friends there for the first time. She was the spotlight of the party. But when people started to leave. Collin told her to go upstairs and wait for him.She obediently complied and enter the room which he had pointed earlier. She was tired and sleepy after the long evening and just as her eyes felt dozing , somebody entered. She frowned and asked for her dad, But the older man had a nasty smirk on his wrinkle face and he tried to do things which no 7 year old could know. Sia started to cry and wailed, She was very young but she knew she didn't like the way he touch her. She didn't know what he was doing to her but everything felt so wrong. He slapped her twice through the process and just as he was about to strip her off her chastity, A savior entered, she couldn't see as her eyes blurred with tears. The sounds of harsh blows and curses followed.
Collin and Rebecca barged in at the sound, Rebecca hug her for the first time and caressed her cheeks where the other man had slapped. Collin too joined in beating up the man. She was shocked at the love and concern that her parents show. She only realized the next day that it was only an act.The unknown man saved her that night but.........nobody came to her screams the other night.
She couldn't even count the number of times she had been sold to satisfy her Dad's business partners by her own DAD. Collin never hit her perhaps he feared it will spoil her face. She was groomed to be a toy, a sex toy. She hated her life, she hated her fate, she hated that she isn't innocent at all. In 6th grade, she even tried killing herself once, Kesha managed to get help in nick time, and the consequences were far worst than death. She feared to have hope because every time she did, it gets worse.
Sia broke away from her thoughts and gazed up at the open window. The calm waves of the sea hitting the shore were a kind of melody.She walked towards the small balcony and stood there. The full moon illuminated her angelic face making her look ethereal. It was quite chilly as the night passes unlike the hot sunny noon. Her urge to go down and feel the water was overwhelming.Soon, She sneaked out of the room and peaked at the empty hallways and quietly make out of the boarding house.
Just as she was about to open the main door,
"Where to, Sweetheart?"
Her hands froze midway. She gulped nervously and racked her brain for an answer.
"turn around" he ordered
She couldn't help but tremble at the intensity of his voice. Her feet made little noise as she slowly turned to the owner of the voice.
"What is the matter?sweetheart, you need anything?" he asked gently
Sia stammered,"I-I uh I was thirsty."
"Really? The Kitchen's on the other side, besides I personally filled your jar a while Ago."
"Oh" She could only say it, dumbfounded
Edward sighed deeply and lightly grabbed her arms, caressing it softly, " I hate it when you lie to me, sweetheart. Now Tell me what is it?"
" I-I wanted to go outside....to the beach.....Can I please?" She pleaded, her big doe eyes sparkling under the dim light.
Edward would have gotten the moon if she desires, how could he ever say No to his innocent angel. His lips curved up as he studied her face.
"Woah! This.......Its beautiful." Sia breathe out, her mouth forming an "O".
Sia left her flip flops and walked barefoot on the sandy beach, the sands tickling the soles of her feet. The glow bugs had scattered all over the beach making it look more enchanting. The full moon illuminated their way and the feisty waves just brought out all the missing elements.
"Yes, it is..." Edward stood by her side but his gaze solely focused on her.
"Oh! Look, something is there!" she squealed excitedly and tugged onto his arms, pulling him towards the waves.
Edward silently followed, her excitement resembled a child who tasted candy for the first time. Sia bent down and picked up something. She turned towards Edward and nudge him to take a look. It was a coral sea shell and some colored stones.
" Can I take it home?" she asked softly' afraid that he would deny.
"Sure, Why not?" he replied and patted her head lovingly. Sia beamed at his response and carefully placed her possession in her pockets.
Both of them settled down on the sand as they silently watched the sea.Edward wanted to ask her about her past but he had no intention of ruining their peaceful moment. His feelings for her grew with days, and he knew that he was genuinely in love with her. Never had he felt such strong attraction for any girl. As he watched her gentle smile and all the pain and secrets hidden beneath it, he silently swore to himself..........
Whatever it is, he is gonna make things right...
