It has been a LONG time since I posted any mermaid or Mericon (Transformer mermaid) art in here. Actually...yeah, first mermaid entry in this book. Anyway, meet Abyss. (Thank you EisiamGodesOfStories for the name)

Abyss is a deep-water Mericon Empress who is very different from her followers.
Quick backstory on Mericons~
Mericons are an all-femme species who spawn from the depths of the oceans. No one knows how or if they reproduce. Mericons are beautiful and deadly, with hypnotic optics (eyes) and an alluring song to draw unlucky sailors to them, where they can drag them from their boats and drown them...before eating them. Mericons are one of the most feared creatures of Cybertron's seas.
Back to Abyss~
Abyss is different from her fellow Mericons in that she is protective of the surface world. She forbids her followers from eating sailors, unless their sparks are not pure. Despite the fact she is supposed to dwell in the darkest, deepest parts of the ocean, Abyss is drawn to the surface and is very curious of it. This leads to her eventual dethronement and exile from her home. So Abyss makes her home on the surface world, pretending to be a local merchant, but at night she misses her true home and sits on the beach and sings out her lament.
