My New Neighbor

Arrival

" Hey dude, did you know that there is a moving truck outside?" Jake's loud deep voice rang as I looked up to see who just entered my house. " I am just guessing that someone is moving into the house next door"
"Have you ever heard of gee I donno, knocking? " I ask curiously and eagerly. I got up to take a look at what Jake was talking about. As I peeked out the window, I saw a hugh green moving truck parked in the driveway of the house that was abandon for three years. As I continued peeking through my window, I saw a woman who was probably in her late 30's, exit a parked car which was parked directly behind the moving truck. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and I jumped back in fright.

"Watcha looking at sweety? " my mother said looking at me with her big curious eyes. Her dark brown eyes looked towards the window.
"Oh, Jake saw a moving truck outside before he came in, I was just, you know checking it out." She immediately turned towards the window, pulling the dark golden curtain slightly, to get a good look outside.
" Oh my! Did you see who our new neighbours may be?" She asked getting excited.

" Yea, but i only saw one lady who looked about your age." Instantly, my mother's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. We lived in an area where there aren't much houses around. Therefore, my mother's close friends live a far distance from where we were located. My mother deeply wanted to make new friends with someone her own age.

" Oh well such fantastic news, tomorrow we should go pay them a visit!" Her eyes then turned to Jake who was sitting on the couch behind me. " darling would you like something to drink?" She asked flashing him a big smile.

" yea sure, a glass of your famous lemonade would do." Jake replied returning a smile to her.

" Chad honey, would you like some lemonade too?"

" Yea, thanks!" As she turned away to go into the kitchen, I slide into the couch opposite Jake."what brings you to 'me casa'?" I ask staring at him.

" just thought that you would like to accompany me, Tom and Freddie to Jannet's party."

" Wait, that sexy blonde from Bio.?"

" Uh huh, it's going to be wicked!"

" Of coarse I will come, why the hell would I not come to one of the sexiest girls at Royals Secondary, party. Wait a sec, why are you asking me?"

" Well dumb ass, if you were in school, she would have asked you!"

" Right, I Skipped school today"

"I was also meaning to ask, where the fuck you went today man, you didn't even take the rest of us guys with you man. Not cool man."
Oh, huh i went to see that chick i screwed last night to tell her you know, oh the regular routine. I can't remember her name though. Poor thing thought that last night meant something. What can i say, i am a player, a force to be reckoned with!" I said goofily standing on the couch. I then heard somone clear their throat. I turned and saw my mother, holding two glasses of lemonade in her hands.

"I am pretty sure you aren't a monkey, now get off my couch!"

"Sorry ma!" I said jumping off the couch. Jake and I both drank the delicious lemonade and handed the glasses back to my mother.

"Thanks Mrs. Smith that was definitely delicious! "

"Oh thank you dear! Um Chad go put Jenny to bed please, she's in the kitchen playing with her cooking set"

"Ok see you in school Jake." I said watching as mom eargerly pushed Jake out the door.

"Yea man tomorrow! " and with that, he was gone

"Mr. Smith you are late to my class! Class has started almost 20 minutes ago. Class is almost over. The next time you come late to my class, I will have to talk to your mother. Understand? Have a seat quickly!" Mr. Clide, my Maths teacher, informed. I could hear the irritation in his voice. I just gave him a smile and head to my assigned seat. On making my way to my seat, my chocolate brown eyes, spot a girl whom I never saw before. Her chestnut wavy locks laid on her back. I realised at the moment that she was probably a new student. She looks up at me, allowing me to see en her hazel-brown eyes. She flashes a friendly smile at me and then looks away, not giving me a chance to return a smile. I made my way to my seat waiting for class to be dismissed. After 15 minutes, class was dissmissed. Everyone got up and made their way to the their other classes.

Finally it was lunch. I bought my lunch and was making my way to my lunch table when felt something collide with my chest. My tee-shirt was suddenly soaked. "You got to be kidding me!" Said a rather soft voice. I looked down to see the the new girl standing there.
" Sorry I didn't see you there." We said in unison.
"I can be a total clutz sometimes. I am so sorry about your shirt." The girl replied looking at her now half empty water bottle on the floor.

"No need to apologies, I didn't see you there."

"Sorry!" She said again. She quickly picked up her bottle and walked away. I chuckled to myself as I continued making my way to my table.

"Eh brother man long time no see!" Jake said loudly as I approached the table.

"Dude you were at my house last night. You have some nerve coming to school druck dude. You'll get caught! " I said quietly.
" weve got ourselves a drunk schoolmate" Freedie said.

"No shit sherlock!" Tom said sarcastically.

The four of us guys were known as, out of a few, popular players in school. In fact we were the most popular guys at school. Not that I am boasting or anything of that sort.

"Dude you can get us into some really deep shit, you know that right? You can't be coming to school all drunk and stuff you will surely get caught." Tom says getting a little worried.

"Yea man, I've had to much detention for one week. I not gonna be responsible for a drunkyard like you man!" Freedie said looking at Jake with little fear in his eyes. I looked at Jake and nodded my head in agreement.
"You bastards worry way to much, no one will ever...... notice! " Jake slurred.

" We should take him home!" Freedie suggested. We all agreed, well everyone except for Jake, obviously. We got up, held Jake by his arms and lead him out of school compound. And let me just say, having a really stubborn drunkyard get into a car, was really difficult. We got him home by the time school was dissmissed. The rest of us parted ways and went home.

Hi everyone! Soo this is my first book. I don't really expect everyone to like it. Plzzz comment, I totally wanna hear what you guys have to say. Honestly, I am kinda desperate, so I will take any sort of comments I can get. You guys can tell me what can be fixed and stuff like that. I am aware that they are readers that are much older than me that are reading(maybe) but hey, I am really young and I have NEVER written a book likethis before. So if you all think that it was childish, PLZ TELL ME SO I CAN FIX IT.
