*Chad's POV*
I couldn't help but wait for Taylor to exist her house later that morning. I don't, honestly, know why the hell I care, but for some reason, I felt as if I had the right to know. I probably looked like some kind of stalker, standing by my car infront her driveway, at 7 in the morning waiting for her to exit her house.
As i was about to get up from my car, the front door opened, revealing her with her black ripped skinny jeans and a hot pink crop top. Her chest-nut brown hair flowed in waves down her back. Her captivating hazel eyes met mines. I saw her sigh as if slightly annoyed to see me. I frowned. She continued walkingg down to her car, her beautiful eyes not leaving mines. Wait, hold up, beautiful, captivating, what the hell! No this is wrong. What the f-
" Can you please tell me why you're parked in front my driveway?" Taylor asked. Her delicate voice broke me from my thoughts."Actually, you can, in more ways than one." I said with a smirk playing on my lips. She gave me a 'are- you -serious ' look.
"Perv" she said trying to walk around my car, which is blocking her exist. "What do you really want, you better hurry cause i have to get to school."
"Can I give a ride. I mean we're neighbours and stuff, and i notice you walk to school and i feel bad. so I'm offering you a ride."
"Sure watever, thanks" she said slipping into the car. I pulled out her driveway and proceeded onto the route to school.I took this as the opportunity to ask her where she was last night.
"Where were you last night?" I blurted out, getting straight to the point. She gave me a quick glance and shrugged.
"Well don't you like to get straight to the point." She said, a smile resting on the rosy pink lips." And why would you like to know?" She said, her smile dropping off her face.
"No reason, except for the fact that a new girl like you can't just arrive home almost early the next morning like that. I mean, obviously, you can't be invited to parties." I said. It was only after I said that, that I realized what i said. I was about to apologize when Taylor decided to say something.
"And what is that supposed to mean? Are you saying that I'm ugly and no one likes me. Is that what you're saying?" She asked.
"What no! I -I... meant...to say that...." All of a sudden, Taylor started laughing. I looked at her slightly confused.
"Chad, I'm just playing with you. I could give one left foot of what people think of me." Taylor replied.Imomentarily took my eyes off the road to look at her.
"Oh. But I'm still very sorry for saying that."
"I don't even care so stop apologizing." There was just something about Taylor I found extremely fascinating. She was just radiating this type of strong control, confident, mysterious.... and... dangerous? It was just something about her that reminded me of....me.
"So about last night. Where did you go?" I asked still waiting for an answer. Taylor looked at me. Her eyes showing that she wanted to tell me something but was afraid.
" Well ever heard of a gang called nighthawks?" she asked, starting to fidget with her hands.
" Yea, there"re really dangerous and hates playing by the rules. And not to mention cold hearted. Don't tell me you ran into them?!?!??!?!?!?!?!"
"psh, no silly." she said, rolling her eyes.
" You should stop rollling yours eyes. Your fricking eyeballs would roll outta your head.
"Shut up" she said, giving me a hard look." Well, you should know something, especially since you're in a gang and stuff." Taylor paused. i saw her visibly swallow and her eyes darted from side to side.
" well.........." i asked, growing slightly impatient.
Just as she opened her mouth, i realized i was now pulling into the school's paking lot. She turned in her seat and looked at me straight in the eye.
"well... I'm... sorta... no am..........."
