The Shamen bumped our ship again and we all fell to the ground. I looked at the GPS. I guess we went into Shamen territory by accident. This isn't good. Shamen are a space gang, ruthless in everything they do. Some people think that the Shamen were born in an alternate universe and found a way to travel to our universe; and in order to protect their technology, they murder anyone who enters their territory.
"Maybe we can talk to them? Try to convince them we are no harm to them," Aauron suggested. I considered ignoring such an idiotic suggestion, but decided I better not.
"Are you crazy? They won't even listen to us, they'll just start hacking us to bits!" I told him with annoyance.
"But maybe if we just give them a chance-" he started again.
"No. Its too dangerous. Its not even worth a try. I'm not going to put my crew in danger like that," I said turning away from the window and pressing the PA button. "Lucas can you come to the command center and everyone else just stay calm. Jovan is in charge, keep everyone in the nursery. If I say 'butter' hide everyone in the walls." I turned off the PA and turned back to Aauron.
"What if we just light speed out of here? would they follow?" He asked me as Lucas came in with us.
"Close the door please," I asked Lucas. "It might work, but who says we will even make it out?" The Shamen bumped us again and Lucas fell to the ground. He got back up and sat in the captain chair, meaning I had nowhere to sit but I didn't mind.
"What's going on?" Asked Lucas.
I hesitated before saying, "It looks like we drifted into Shamen territory," I said carefully, watching his expression. He looked at me like he didn't believe me.
"If you don't believe her, look out the window," Aauron told him. Lucas carefully looked out the window. He gasped as he saw their ship and sat back down.
"Okay, so what do we do?" He asked, both of them turning to me.
"I... don't know," I admitted cautiously. I suddenly got an idea. I turned and ran out of the room excitedly. I ran to the captain's quarters and searched through some booklets until I found what I was looking for. I turned and ran out of the room, running headfirst into Aauron, who had followed me from the command center, also running. I flew into the wall, hitting my head and sending the book and myself flying in opposite directions.
