Nail polish. So pretty, so fashionable, yet SUCH A PAIN. Why is it that nail polish costs so much money? I understand that it might be more expensive to manufacture, but why pay five dollars for something that will flake off in a few days. Sometimes I'll go to the store and spend six dollars on some "long lasting" nail polish, come to find out that it only lasted an extra day longer than my cheaper nail polish.
The hard work put into making your nails "perfect". How do those people do it? I'm right handed, so how am I suppose to make my right hand look decent? It always ends up looking terrible. One time I was painting my nails, when I decided to do an incredibly challenging thing. I was going to layer my nails. I worked long and hard. It probably took me about three episodes of Pretty Little Liars to finish them. I was exhausted, so once I was finished, I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to realize that my nails were completely smeared. It was horrible. I felt so defeated, I just wanted to cry.
Buying nail polish. When your at the store, picking out nail polish, and a worker asks you if you're looking for something. Obviously, I am, so I tell them. They suddenly look around the place, and ask me if I want "this" or "that" nail polish that I didn't even ask for. I can make my I own decisions, thank you. Then when I say I already have the nail polish that I want, they decide to make me buy more. I obviously grab the ones they tell me I should get, then I walk away. I wait for them to leave the isle and I put them back on the shelf. But still... What a pain!
