A Lost Bunny 🐰

Part 7

The next morning you wake up and look around, confused. "How did I get to my room? I thought I fell asleep on the couch. So was meeting Wonho just a dream?" you think to yourself. You feel sad thinking it was all a dream.

You stretch your arms and find your phone wrapped up in your blankets. You see that it's 10:30am. You get out of bed and notice you still have yesterday's clothes on. "So it wasn't a dream??" you think excitedly.

You quickly put a clean change of clothes on, deciding to go with another comfy but cute outfit, and make your way to the bathroom. After cleaning yourself up a bit you walk out into the main room. You stop dead in your tracks and let out a small "eep" when you see what's going on in your apartment.

Wonho turns around with a bright smile on his face when he hears you come into the main room. "Cute Y/n! You're awake.You look so pretty today! Did you sleep well?"

You barely heard what Wonho had said to you. You were too distracted by the scene in front of you. Your voice is a whisper at first, "Monsta X is in my apartment...MONSTA X IS IN MY APARTMENT!?!?" They are all looking at you now, greeting you with smiles.

"Surprise!" Wonho says. "I wanted to do something special to thank you for everything you did for me. So yesterday I asked them to come over and help make you breakfast." Wonho has the biggest smile on his face.

You stand there staring. Your eyes move from Wonho cooking scrambled eggs to Kihyun pouring what looks like pancake batter onto a pan. Your eyes move over to see Minhyuk asking what everyone wants to drink and Shownu and Hyungwon pulling out plates and utensils for everyone. You turn your head and see Jooheon standing by your CD shelf, looking through the music collection you've accumulated over the years while Changkyun sits on your couch looking through the books you have sitting on your coffee table.

You finally process everything that's going on in your apartment. In that moment you can't find the words to say and you become overwhelmed with emotions. You feel tears welling up in your eyes.

"Eggs are ready," Wonho says turning off the burner. He turns around and sees you standing there crying. "Aah Y/n! What's wrong?" He rushes over to you.

The other members look over in alarm, letting out sounds of concern. Wonho places his hands on each side of your face, using his thumbs to gently wipe the tears away.

You look up at Wonho. You're feeling both shock and embarrassment because of what this situation has become. "Uh...sorry. I just felt so surprised and happy that I became overwhelmed." You give Wonho a big smile and wrap your arms around him in a hug, "Thank you so much for this surprise."

He gives you a warm smile and returns the hug. "You're welcome, Y/n." He kisses the top of your head. You lift your head in surprise, blushing. "Did he just kiss me??" you think to yourself.

As if reading your mind, Wonho, still hugging you, smiles and winks at you, silently saying, "Yeah, I did."

For a moment it's quiet. The members awkwardly watch the moment you and Wonho have. They are relieved that you weren't crying because you were sad, but not really sure what to say.

Minhyuk breaks the silence, "Oooh, 'Cute Y/n' ?" He gives you and Wonho a curious look with his eyebrows raised.

You blush even harder and look up at Wonho. He's smiling but you notice his ears turning pink in embarrassment. They almost match the color of his pink hair. You let out a small laugh as friendly laughter from the other members fills the room.

"Alright," Kihyun says, still laughing, "that's enough. Breakfast is ready."

Because your apartment is so small, it's a tight fit with eight people in it. Everyone agrees it's best to serve themselves in the kitchen and then find somewhere comfortable to sit in the main room.

Shownu, Kihyun, Jooheon, and Minhyuk grab their food first and sit at your small dining table. Hyungwon and Changkyun are first to reach the couch with their plates of food. This leaves you and Wonho with no where to sit.

Wonho takes his plate and gets comfortable on the floor near the couch. He gestures for you to sit next to him. You grab your plate of food and obediently walk over to him, sitting next to him on the floor.

You smile and say, "Thank you for the meal."

This is followed by a chorus of, "Thank you for the meal," from the other members.

Everyone is happily eating breakfast and chatting in your tiny apartment. You've never felt this much joy before and you can't help but wear a big smile on your face. You look over at Wonho and laugh seeing him with a mouth full of pancakes, making his cheeks puff out. You lightly nudge him with your shoulder and quietly say, "Cute Bunny," making sure the other members don't hear. Wonho looks over at you smiling, his mouth still full of the bite of pancake he just took.

He's still looking at you when he finishes chewing the food in his mouth. He winks at you and gives you one of his brightest smiles. Quietly he says, "Cute Y/n," back.
