A Lost Bunny 🐰

Part 6

You look at the time on your phone. It's 9:30pm now. "What time are you getting picked up tomorrow?" you ask.

Wonho checks the text that he received earlier. For a split second a mischievous smile crosses his face. He's definitely planning something. "Looks like around noon."

You didn't notice the smile so you remain unaware of whatever he's plotting. "Hm...so we don't need to go to sleep just yet," you say, trying to think of something to do.

Wonho puts his phone back in his pocket, the mischievous smile already gone. He scans the apartment to see what we can do. "We can always watch another movie. I saw a few others earlier that I would like to watch."

"Sure. I'm always up for another movie." You pause to go grab one of your soft blankets from the bedroom. You walk back into the main room. "Which one do you want to watch this time?"

Wonho looks through your DVDs again. "How about this one?" he turns around holding My Neighbor Totoro.

"Yeah sure, that's fine with me. Another favorite of mine," you respond. "You really like the Japanese movies," you say smiling.

Wonho puts the DVD into the player. "I just really like Japanese culture." Wonho sits and pats his hand on the couch, gesturing for you to sit next to him.

You sit on the couch and offer Wonho half of the blanket.

He pulls the blanket over both of your laps. You see him smiling down at you, "Thank you, Y/n."

Hearing him say your name while giving you that warm smile of his makes your heart beat a little faster. You become overly conscious of how close you are to him. You blush a little and in a shy voice say, "You're welcome, Wonho."

Wonho reaches over you. Your face turns bright red and you hold your breath, not knowing what he was doing. Your mind goes into a panic as you think, "Is he going to hug me? Is he going to kiss me?? What is he doing??"

He pulls away with the tv remote in his hand. He looks at you and can't help but laugh seeing the face you're making. "What did you think I was going to do?" He lets out a small laugh, "You really are cute."

Your heart is pounding and you feel like you can barely breathe. In a small voice you manage to say, "Let's just start the movie." You pull your knees up to your chest and partially bury your face in them, leaving the top half of your face visible.

You're half way through the movie. You sit with your head leaning back against the couch. Wonho is sitting with his arms laid out along the back of the couch. Your eyelids start to feel heavy. You want to stay awake but sleep seems to be inevitable. Your eyes close and you doze off. Without realizing it, you lean your head against Wonho's side. You curl up against him and fall fast asleep.

Wonho looks down at you. Seeing you sleeping soundly against him makes the corner of his lip curl up ever so slightly. He watches the rest of the movie, gently tracing circles on your arm with his thumb, being careful not to shift too much and wake you.

It's after 11pm when the movie ends. Wonho turns the tv off and pulls the blanket off to the side. He carefully slides out from under you, making sure not to wake you. He stands up and then gently picks you up princess style, carrying you to the bedroom.

He somehow manages to pull the blankets back with you in his arms. He lays you down gently into your bed, pulling the covers up onto you. Still asleep, you turn onto your side, facing Wonho, and curl up into a fetal position. "Cute Bunny," you mumble in your sleep with a slight smile.

Wonho covers his mouth, trying not to laugh. He doesn't want to wake you. He leans down and places a light kiss on your cheek. "Sleep well, Cute Y/n," he whispers before leaving the room, quietly closing the door behind him. He goes back into the living room, laying down on the couch with his head on one of the couch pillows. He places the blanket the two of you used during the movie on himself and drifts off to sleep.
