She knew she had to be completely sure, 100 percent, before she could even think about telling her parents, so she made a pro/con list about bisexuality. Unsurprisingly, there were a lot more points on the pro list. I say "pro", but it wasn't like she wanted to be gay, she just named it "pro" because it consisted of all the gay things she'd ever done and how she felt about girls (and guys).
Even though the list said the was bi, she still had her doubts. What if it was just a phase? But all those doubts vanished whenever she saw Hannah again. Hannah was the prettiest girl in the room, no matter the room. She was kind, muscular (she was on the football team), smart and beautiful. She made Wendy feel like she was floating and didn't know how to come down. She realized she had to accept the fact that she was bi. She felt about Hannah the same way she had felt about Jacob and Alexander. After realizing this, she knew she had to tell Hülya, her best friend for as long as she could remember. She knew she wouldn't be mad or anything, but she was scared she was going to feel different about their friendship. What if they couldn't have sleepovers anymore? Would Hülya be uncomfortable around her now? She doubted it, but there was that little voice in the back of her head repeating what if, what if, what if... what if she won't like me anymore?
