Chapter 10- Second chances

Aizawa's POV

     "Hey, do me a favor and protect Midoriya. Alpha is going to be pissed about this." Y/N turned and hit the hand of the security guard in front of her. As she hit his hand I yanked on my scarf and her feet flew out from under her. Her head slammed into the ground while the gun shot a bullet into the wall. All of the guards seemed utterly shocked. I nudged Y/N. She was unconscious. 

     "Everything is fine now. I suggest that Y/N is moved to a padded cell though." The security guards nodded before leaving the room. I put my hand to my forehead. What could possibly be so bad as to drive someone to try to kill themselves like that. I decide to head to the school. I would talk to Midoriya about it.

     Small miniscule Timeskip- at the school… at night… in Midoriya's POV

     I plopped down into my bed. I'm happy to be back in my dorm. Everyone was so excitedto see me. Kacchan is still missing though. I worry for him. I don't know what plans villains have for him. I really hope he's ok. I'm also worried for Phantom. Aizawa Sensei said that she tried to commit suicide today. She is trying to escape Alpha. I remember her telling me that his quirk is pain. I curled on my side and closed my eyes while worried thoughts circle my brain. 

     Y/N POV

     I cracked open my eyes and could make out a room in front of me. I sat up and found that I was wearing one of those jackets for crazy people. I looked down behind me and saw me… Fuck. I whipped my head around the room until I saw a familiar figure. "Hello Y/N, it's nice to see you again." I growled. Her name is Yuri. Her quirk is mindscape travel. Basically if someone is sleeping then she can go into their mindscape. It is a powerful quirk for kidnappings. Not so much for assassinations. She can move my physical body inside the mindscape. When she cancels her quirk, wherever my body is inside the mindscape becomes the place where my body is in the physical world. Right now my physical body is kind of invisible. It is in a state called tempaphase. My body is still on the bed, but it can't be seen. After the quirk is disabled my body becomes visible, but it is visible wherever it was just currently at in the mindscape.

     I can't touch her in the mindscape. I would just go straight through her. All I can do is watch while she moves my physical body. "So, I take it that Alpha is pretty pissed at me." She nodded. "Yup, I cant believe that you hid a target like that. I mean we even had to relocate because of you." I nodded. "Can't do anything about it now." She sighed. "Well, come on then." 

     I did the only thing I could and followed Yuri through the mindscape. Eventually she stopped and my vision went dark. I knew that I would wake up later. Most likely in the new headquarters. 

     Aizawa's POV

     I rewatched the security footage of Y/N's cell. She just disappeared. Her whole body was there then it wasn't. She was right about these people being dangerous. I have a feeling that this is going to end badly, very, very, badly.

     Y/N's POV

     I once again opened my eyes, this time I was in my body. I sat up and looked around. I was in a dark room. My eyes rested on a figure at the foot of the bed I was laying on. It was Alpha.

     "What was that? You betray this entire corporation for some kid? I have to spend my time and my resources to fix this mess that you caused. You betrayed me. You know wrongdoings always have consequences. You know the extent of yours." I didn't say anything. I knew the penalty of betrayal was death. "But, I am willing to let this slide since you are my second in command. I haven't sent anyone to fetch him because I want that to be your job. Bring him here and all of this is washed away like it never happened." I nodded. Usually Alpha is strict on the rules around here. This was a blessing.
