Chapter 18- the ending

Midoriya's POV

     I sit beside Y/N's unconscious form. Almost every member of the League was captured. Only Shigaraki, compress, and Twice escaped. I put my hand on Y/N's shoulder. Her face is heavily wrapped in bandages. Shigaraki's quirk affected her face a lot, but Recovery girl was able to fix most of the damage. 

     The door opens and Kacchan enters. "What do you want Kacchan?" There is unintended venom in my voice. "The Fuck?! I was telling you that Fucking class is about to start." I nod. "Ok. Thanks Kacchan."

     I don't try to be mad at Kacchan, but I can't stop myself for blaming him a bit about what happened.

     He tsked before walking out the door. I soon followed. 

     Y/N's POV

     I woke up and slowly looked around. I was in Recovery Girl's office. "Hello?" I stood and walked around a bit. I felt bandages on My forehead wrapping around to the back of my head. I went back to the bed and sat down. 

     Recovery Girl soon walked in. She ran a few checkups on me before leaving to inform Nezu that I was awake. I looked out the window until the door opened. Nezu scurried over to me. "Glad your awake Y/N! Midoriya has hardly left this room since you returned."

     I nodded. "Where is he anyway?" Nezu pointed out the window. "In his dorm. I can inform him that you are awake." I nod. "Yes sir."

     He clasped his paws together. "There is one thing we need to discuss. You still have committed crimes and the police force has asked you go to trial. Your crimes were mainly committed as a minor though and you have completed some recent heroic deeds so your sentence should not be too severe." I nod. I knew that eventually I would have to go on trial for my crimes. Nezu went on. "From what I learned from young Kana, you were forced to commit these crimes or face punishment from your leader. Correct?" I nod again. "Well your case shouldn't be too bad. I'll personally speak for you during the trial."

     "Thank you..." He nods. "Anytime. I'm going to go get Midoriya." He later returns with Izuku in tow. "Izuku!" I wrap him into a hug. Nezu turns towards the door. "We leave tomorrow at 3. Recovery girl will give you some formal clothes to wear. "Thanks."

     He leaves and I look at Izuku. "I have a trial tomorrow. But don't worry. The odds are in my favor." I sit beside him on the hospital bed. "I don't know how I managed to end up like this." He gives me a confused look. 

     "I mean it's not bad, just surprising." I Look him in the eyes. "I somehow managed to fall in love with a hero who I was supposed to kill."

     His face went cherry red. "Oh! Well… me either I guess. I mean I kind of f-fell in love with y-you too." I laughed. "Your stuttering again!" He rubbed his neck. "Well… i … um.." I leaned in and kissed him. His lips tasted sweet. Kind of like strawberries. I ran my fingers through his soft, fluffy hair and sighed with content. 

      Eventually we pull away because of a wretched thing called oxygen. He is red in the face. I laugh and rest my chin on his shoulder.

     We stay like that for a while. Just enjoying each others company.

     "Y/N…?"

     "Yeah?"

     "No matter what the court decides, I'll always believe that you were never evil in the first place. I love you…"

     "I love you too."

-Timeskip to tomorrow- Y/N POV

     I walked out of the courtroom with a smile on my face. I was given six months in a villain correctional facility then fourteen months of house arrest. Since I don't have a home, I will be staying at U.A. Nezu says that I might even be able to receive a hero's licence if I work hard enough.

     Midoriya was waiting outside. I hugged him before telling him what I was sentenced. He seemed relieved. Things could have gone a lot worse. I kissed him before going to a waiting car to gather my belongings.

     -6 months later-

     Today is the day I get out of here. I am being released soon. Midoriya visited often, sometimes bringing Kana, and now we can truly see each other for the first time in half a year. I smile and walk outside. I spotted Midoriya. He was taller and a little more muscular, but still had the same poofy green hair and cinnamon roll face. I ran up to him and kissed him. 

     This is the start of my new life. A better life in which I wont have to kill or worry about my safety. This is the life where I can be truly happy with the one I love.

     Ok guys! This story is by far one of the longest I will ever do(lie) It was a total of 25,913 words! I might do some extra stuff like random moments at U.A. or when you guys are adults.
