Kai Pov
Standing above the others, I look down upon them, my eyes glaring right into her pupils. The pale blue pleading for mercy. All I could do to resist was scream my thoughts, the darkness that devoured me wouldn't back down, the internal desire of total power and need to be the best overwhelmed my own thoughts, my actions were guided by simple primordial thoughts.A blast of light engulfed me, swallowing me whole before I faded into the darkness.

I awoke quickly, my forehead covered in sweat. My amber eyes scanned our makeshift camp. A few Hypnobrai stood guard, their red eyes scanning the area. I blinked and glanced to my side, Skylor slept peacefully, her steady breaths and rising chest seemed to bring calmness over me. This sense of peace seemed to be, so different. Yet my need to obtain what I wanted was too great. I still hadn't gotten my revenge, and Vedrik's betrayal only served to cause me more anger.I stood up and marched forward, my eyes swept around, the sun was slowly rising. I frowned, we would have to get moving soon. The hunt for this fabled Dark Island served to fuel my dark desires. I turned towards one of the Serpentine. A faithful warrior who I saved. A serpentine from another Realm. His name was Icepick. His scales were dark blue, his red eyes glowed dimly. A large scar crossed his left face. He wore torn clothing, almost as if he had been forced to scavenge for it all.
"Gather the men, we need to move at once." I commanded. Icepick nodded in understanding and moved to relay my orders. I turned around to face Skylor and bent down, my arms rested over my knees. "We need to get moving." I whispered, tapping her shoulder lightly.
She groaned and reached for her dagger. I chuckled and grabbed her wrist. "I know you hate being woken up. But if we're to find this Dark Island, then we need to get moving." I said, watching as her eyes fluttered open. A soft smile formed upon my lips.
"It's still dark." She complained.
I rolled my eyes and stood up, grabbing my helmet and tucking it under my arm. "Well, we don't want to be discovered. And we need to get to the City of Ouroboros before noon." I replied.

Ninjago City was silent as I watched the people move about. I sighed as I glanced towards my long time friend. He had aged greatly since the last time we met. He seemed worried, something to do with my son perhaps? "You seem bothered Wu." I said, watching as he turned to face me."I fear Kai now seeks another way to get revenge for our hasty retreat three years ago." He replied.
I nodded as I glanced back out. "We can only hope he stops this crusade before he causes anymore trouble." I replied, watching out as we stood silently.
"We have an emergency at the Ninjago Museum of History." Nya yelled, racing towards the other ninja. I sighed and looked at Wu.
"I guess we should go and find out what this is." I said. Heading out.

I suppose I should be surprised, but at this point in time, I don't think it was possible. Considering that so much odd stuff has happened. I guess this was just the tip of the iceberg. "I've already had enough of this." Lloyd exclaimed, spinning up his tornado of Energy. I sighed and looked at Wu, then noticed something escape. I sighed and nodded as we ran after it.I looked up as Wu crushed it, I widened my eyes as a sore sight entered my vision. Misako. I gasped as did Wu. "Misako." He said. I turned to see the others had arrived. I looked at my daughter before facing the two in-laws. "This is Misako..." He paused as he looked uncertainly at Lloyd. "Lloyds mother." He finished.
I already knew this information. But that didn't mean it hurt me slightly when Lloyd ran away. I sighed and quickly followed. We soon entered another room, a large pit with several banners before it. I blinked, I could recognise certain images, but others were unfamiliar.
