The Island of Darkness

The Bounty was silent, Nya stood with her parents, watching as Dr Juilen worked away with Jay and Zane to create several vehicles. Cole was busy helping them, lifting the heavy materials they required. Elsewhere, Lloyd was busy learning more about his powers with Wu while Garmadon and Misako went over the scrolls, searching for a way to prevent the final battle.

She glanced at her parents, both of them were silent, most likely processing the thought that they currently stood upon an island that was once believed to be nothing more then a myth, a fairy tale.

"The Overlord's connection to this Realm is strongest here, we're going to have to be careful. No doubt Kai's got the Stone Army set up in tight patrols, keeping us out." Wu said, emerging from wherever it was he and Lloyd were not wo long ago.

Ray turned to face his old friend. "How sure are we that Kai is in control of the Stone Army?" He asked.

Wu sighed. "It is merely an observation old friend. For I fear that Kai has indeed fell into the favour of The Overlord." He replied.

Ray nodded as he made his was over to the table, the others coming to join them shortly. "Whats the game plan?" Cole asked, leaning against the table.

Wu glanced around. "We must find the Temple of Light, ninja, you need to scout out the island, use this medallion to locate it." He said, producing something from his kimono.

Nya took it in hand and nodded, racing out, Lloyd went to follow, only for his father to stop him. "Not yet Lloyd, we do not wish to unwilling start the final battle before we are ready." He said.

Lloyd nodded, watching as the others vanished from sight. Ray closed his eyes. "Be safe my daughter." He muttered.

Nya narrowed her gaze, she and the others curently sat upon a rock overlooking the Stone Armies camp. Her eyes locked upon what they were building. "What do you think they're building?" Cole questioned.

Nya shurgged her shoulders. "Not something good, I can tell you that much." She replied.

Jay nudged her shoulder. She glanced in the direction he pointed. She widened her eyes. Kai stood, speaking with a four armed Stone Samurai. She noted a helmet upon his head. "Sensei Wu was right, Kai is in command of the Stone Army." She muttered, turning to look at the others.

Cole sighed. "We're all heartbroken that Kai's gone bad, but we still have a job to do. We need to locate the Temple of Light, unlock its secrets and stop The Overlord from ever returning." He said.

Nya nodded, only then did she notice that Zane had vanished. "Where did Zane go?" She questioned.

Cole glanced to his side, he blinked and did a double take. How he failed to notice the shift in weight on his side was beyond him at the moment. He glanced down at the camp and noticed something, the falcon rested in a tent. He soon caught sight of Zane sliding in and around. "Dang it Zane, don't get caught." He said, turning to face the other two. "Right, let's use that medallion and find the temple." He said.

Kai knew something was wrong. Someone was sneaking around his camp. He turned to face Kozu. "We have an unwanted guest in the camp, ensure that they are found and brought before me." He said. Watching the four armed general vanish.

He turned back to oversee the construction of his new weapon. His eyes glued to it. "I sense the ninja are nearby, searching for the Temple of Light. If they find it first, they will have the power to beat the army." The Overlord warned.

Kai growled as he turned away from the construction sight. "I won't let the, interfer with your return and my revenge." He replied, marching towards a large tent with speed.

Nya frowned as she held the medallion tightly. Her eyes blinked as the three circles alined with the peaks of three mountains. She grinned. "I found it. On the tallest peak of a mountain." She said.

Jay smiled as he turned to see Zane running, the falcon in hand. Stone Samurai not far behind him. "We've got another problem." He said.

Cole nodded in agreement. "Run!" He said, leaping off and onto the ground before he stopped. "We need to get lost, take to the trees." He cried, leaping from branch to branch, the others not far behind him.

Lloyd blinked as the four ninja arrived. "They're on our tail. Have you got those vehicles ready?" Nya questioned.

Ray nodded. "Go, get to the temple." He said. Pausing as he smirked. "Your mother packed a little something extra for you in the back Nya." He added.

Nya nodded, joining the others as they raced away in one of the new vehicles.

Nya blinked. "It's all upwards from here." She said, leaping out of the vehicle and running to the back. "Let's see what mother packed." She muttered to herself. Pressing a button upon a bright blue and dark red box.

She watched as the thing unfolded into a small mech. She squeled in delight and leapt to the controls. "I love my mother!" She exclaimed, quickly turning to face the mountain. "Grab on, it's going to be a rough ride." She said. Leaping up the mountain as the ninja leapt onto her mech.

Once at the top, the five ninja were quick to enter the temple, each of them discovering an elemental blade tied to one of the four elements of creation. Nya sighed as she held the elemental blade of fire.

The blade reacted to her, she didn't know if it was because of her connection to the previous master of fire, or that her brother was the current master of fire. She was just glad that things weren't screwed.

Kai roll d a fist as he watched a golden dragon fly out from the tip of a mountian. He hissed in anger while The Overlord growled with annoyance. "This will make things difficult. We had better hope he never discover the true potential of his powers." The first evil said.

Kai nodded in agreement. Though he had a feeling that this was the start of the end.
