Bully [Park Jisung ff]

Chapter 06

Jimin's Pov

I sped my way to the hospital right after the ambulance brought my family. Once I arrived I rushed in and asked for their room numbers. They luckily gave me Jisung's but didn't give either my mom or father's room numbers since they were in surgery.

I quickly found his room and burst inside. The only thing that could be heard was the beating of his heart on the heart monitor as it got slower. I was approaching his hospital bed when a pair of arms pulled me back as he was wheeled out of the room. 

"What the hell, are you doing, thats my brother, where are you taking him?"

"Sir, he has to be taken to surgery, if we don't act sooner, he might-"

"How long will the surgery be?"

"A few hours, as the doctor found a shard of glass lodged on his stomach"

I took a deep breath and nodded, 'as long as he lives' I thought. I was led to the waiting room and they sat me down and asked me to give them information about my family and what happened. After they left me all I could do was pick my nails anxiously as I waited for them to give me news about my beloved family.

I always knew that such things were inevitable as my dad had been treating us like this for the longest time, but I never thought it would be this soon. He just came out of the mental institution a few weeks ago. I don't want Jisung to grow up like I did, I don't want him to grow up with a sick, good for nothing man who punishes him for the slightest mishaps. I don't want Jisung to be like me.

Without realizing, I fell into a restless sleep on the uncomfortable chair. 

~The next morning~

I was woken up by a nurse, she told me that they were out of surgery and that it was successful. However, my father would be brought back to the mental institution. I silently thanked her as I got up and went to check up on them. I quickly asked the receptionists for their new room numbers and went to find them.
