It all started with a hot chocolate

Berwald came into his first day of work at Mummo's Coffee Shop, run by a little Finnish man named Tino. Tino looked up at him and smiled. "Hey! want something before the shop opens?" The Finnish man asked. "A hot chocolate, a muffin, or a coffee?" Tino said, the smile never leaving his face. Tino was quite the happy man, humming as he walked around and taking orders. He was especially good with children, giving them not so hot chocolates with animals the whipped cream. Let's just say, Berwald immediately fell for him.

"Uh.. a hot chocolate, please." The taller man said, receiving a smile once more from Tino. Tino rushed off to the kitchen, humming a soft, soothing tune. Tino was a very curvy male, not even looking male from behind. When he was facing the front, his round face and circular blue eyes didn't help that statement. His stereotypical Scandinavian blonde hair perfectly fit his face shape, accentuating his small nose and a wide smile. His hips swayed as he walked, catching the eye of male customers and leaving them to their thoughts. Tino hadn't been in a relationship since high school. He had a bad relationship there, causing him both physical and emotional scars. That relationship is why he left Finland and moved to Stockholm to open his bakery. Why he left his Grandparents. He didn't even get to go to their funeral. Thinking about those events made a soft sigh leave Tino's throat. The Finnish man walked back out, holding two mugs. He handed one to Berwald, smiling wide. "Here's your hot chocolate, Berwald." He said, taking a drink of his drink.

"What did you get to drink?" The Swedish male asked, causing the smaller male to perk up. "Oh, I got a dark roast coffee with two shots of espresso, three pumps of vanilla bean syrup, a bit of half and half, and french vanilla creamer," Tino said with a soft hum. Berwald couldn't help but smile a bit at his knowledge of coffee products."When I drink coffee, it's usually just-"

"Salted caramel creamer. I can tell. You give off the vibe of someone who likes salted caramel. It is quite good, but I prefer French vanilla," Tino stated, giggling softly at the taller man's expression. "I can usually tell what a person liked in their coffee," Tino said, smiling.

Closing time came quickly. Tino looked at Berwald, who was wiping down tables. "Hey, Berwald? Would you like to come over to my house for a bit tonight?" Tino asked, a soft rose blush appearing on his face. Berwald looked at him and nodded. "Sure, Berwald said, pushing his glasses up. Tino smiled wide.

"How about...7:30? I'll have some snacks for us." Tino said, smiling. Berwald nodded. "That'll work." He said, smiling.

And that... is just the beginning of this story.
