"I want my lawyer. "
"Can we know what your fucking problem is? "
Alba paused as she met Guzman's gaze. The latter was leaning against the brick of wall of their high school leaving Alba wrinkle her lips. She stood for a moment in silence as she watched in search of a way to avoid this altercation. She knew it was finally going to happen, but she did not really bet on Guzman. If anyone had to go after her, she had imagined someone like Marina or even Ander. Not Guzman.
"Leave me alone, Guzman." She sighed as she resumed the walk with the intention of cutting off this discussion.
Unfortunately it was underestimated the tall blond since he soon grabbed her wrist to hold her back."Leave me alone, Guzman. That's all you find to say to me after three months of silence?"
"I have nothing to tell you. To you or the others." Alba replied dryly as she pulled her wrist from his grip.
She had not really anticipated this type of confrontation. Especially not today. She was not prepared.
"Oh yeah ? And what you do of Marina? Do you know how many times she cried this week because you just ignored her?"
This time Alba could not really stop herself from rolling her eyes disdainfully. It only amplified the blond's deep frown. It was easy to guess that he was fucking mad. The tick along his jaw was a clear indication.
However, he made a huge effort to stay calm. Alba knew it. He had anger issues. It was pretty obvious. At least for someone who was careful enough.
"Listen, Guzman. Leave it."
"So what? We're not good enough for you?" He exclaimed indignantly. "What could have happened in the summer so that you wouldn't even want to look at us?"
Alba took a deep breath about to unpack everything before stopping at the last moment. She took a step back by clenching her fist with all her strength before shrugging her shoulders. She could feel her resilience cracking little by little.
She licked her lower lip in agitation before shrugging her shoulders giving a sorry look at the blond. Taking the straps of her backpack, she was about to turn back only a pair of arms wrapping around her middle stopped her. She froze as she could now feel Guzman's torso against her back.
To say that she was surprised by his gesture was an euphemism.
She could feel the redness rising to her cheeks as she widened her eyes. The blond readjusted his grip around her middle leaving Alba give in to her emotions. A tear escaped her, letting her fight against the whirlwind of emotion assaulting her mind.

Walking in the corridors of Las Encinas, Alba was somewhat stressed about whether Nadia would come back or not. As strange and sudden as it may seem, the muslim girl was the first person to truly capture her attention. It had been a long time since she had confided in and she had quickly realized how much she had missed it in recent years.
