Danny had been staying with Louis for 4 months now. The knot in her stomach never got smaller but she did enjoy the view of where he lived. Since it was November it began to lightly snow at least once a week, it was beautiful to Danny. She felt in limbo, part of her life was going well and the other part was still very grey. She was dating Oliver, and that was going good. She felt happy with him, she didn't tell Louis, but he had his suspicions. Though she was mostly happy with her reality, every night she couldn't wait to go to sleep, because the dreams of Shannon were becoming more and more often. Danny started to even feel like the dreams couldn't even be called dreams because they always felt so lifelike.  She told Shannon about Oliver and school assignments and really anything she could think of.

"I don't like you here," Shannon said. She said this often.

"I don't have anywhere else to go," Danny argued.

"I hate the way he looks at you." Shannon's brown eyes always seemed to grow a shade darker when she got serious. Shannon always looked the same as she did in real life. Dark brown hair with natural waves, almond shaped eyes and tan skin. She even wore the same outfit Danny remembered her wearing, a dark green sweatshirt with black sport shorts. Shannon would sit on the edge of the bed with her long legs dangling over and turn her torso to face Danny.

"Shannon, are you still alive," this was the question Danny had been dying to ask, but she had been too afraid to receive the answer, even if this was just a dream.

Shannon just looked Danny, like she hadn't even heard what she just asked. Her lips were always in a natural purse. "Danny, I really miss you."

"Are these dreams?" Danny was becoming more child-like.

"I don't know," Shannon's eyebrows expressed her confusion too.

"Let's go to sleep," Danny said.

And that's usually how the dreams would end, with Danny suggesting they go to sleep and they'd curl up next to one another. Danny had been sleeping so much better these days and it was all thanks to these dreams that kept recurring.

A text woke Danny up from a nap.

Oliver: Hey, what are you doing?

Danny: I just woke up from a nap

Oliver: it's 730 lol

Danny: oops

Oliver: Theres a party tonight at Jared's, wanna come?

Danny: Another one?

Oliver: It's senior year!

Danny: What time?

Oliver: I can pick you up around 8?

Danny: I'll meet you at Jared's

Oliver: Sure you want to drive?

Danny: I don't drink :)

Oliver: I'll see you there :)

Danny and Oliver hadn't been to another party together since August, so he never realized that Danny didn't drink. Danny was hoping Oliver didn't either since she noticed he hadn't at that party too.

"Louis, do you mind if I come with you into town," Danny asked.

"Sure, do you need something?" Louis said. Usually Danny stayed at Louis' home on Saturdays and just studied.

"I'm just going to meet with some friends tonight. I'll probably just stay at Riley's."

"A party?" he asked skeptical.
