The human body consists of bones and organs and flesh and skin, but I would like to think that I am made up of stardust, because it sounds lovely and it seems magical and I think everybody wishes they were made up of something beautiful. However, I am not magnificent and I am nothing extraordinary, and I should not convince myself of anything but the truth. I am timid. I look incredibly frail. I need to take medication to even think properly.
I am probably made up of the old grey ashes we left in the fire pit three weeks ago.
Since I have never seen stardust, I am going to tell myself that they look just the same, for now.
