blue
the ocean
and endless sky
onwards, and infinite
is the colour blue
the sky
extends thousandfold
a blanket on humanity
the ocean
deep
dark
unsettling
strangely beautiful
a haunting song lures sailors to their watery grave
frothing waves crash onto the shore
blue
melding into white
clawing for your ankles
to drag you deep
to hold you and never let go
the ocean hides secrets
gaze deep into those indigo eyes
mystery lurks
deep, soft and alluring
the hard edge of electric blue
spears into her heart
blue
mingling with red
the tears leak down from her eye
a tiny river
blue
