A/N; I'm really sorry I haven't updated this in like forever! I hope you can forgive me though!

*Katy's pov*

As I laid down on my new bed, crying my eyes out, I finally decided to pull myself together. After a few seconds hesitation I dragged up my iPhone with my earphones. I unlocked it and went to Spotify, and put on my depressing songs, without even realizing what I did, I sang with the song, feeling slightly hurt because of the lyrics.

When the song finished I crawled out from the bed and made my way over to the "makeup table," and I started to touch up my face.
Just when I finished my makeup, I could hear Stacey shout at me to come out, to greet the others. Sighing I stood up from the stool, and made my way over to the door. I took a deep breath, preparing myself to smile and pretend to be happy.

As I opened the door everyone's heads turned to face me, which made me feel super uncomfortable, causing me to lower my head just a tiny little bit, still looking at all of them though. Stacey smiled at me, mention me to come over to her. While I walked up to her, I heard someone, Justin I think, entering the living room. Speaking of the room, it was incredible. Everything from the large sofas to the cozy dining-table was simply perfect.

When I finally stood by Stacey, a short brow haired woman walked up to me, smiling widely at me. "Hi, my name is Pattie, and I'm Justins mom" she greeted me, pulling me in to a tight. Feeling a little started, I slowly hugged Pattie back. As she pulled away, still wearing her big, warm, beautiful smile, she looked over at Stacey, and greeted her as well.

A man, maybe in his early thirties, came up to me next. He had brown hair and brown eyes, not as nice as Justin's though, but still warm.
"Katy, nicely of you to join us! My name is Scooter, and I'm Justin's manager," he said kindly, taking my hand in his. Scooter shook my hand carefully, but still tight. "Speaking of Justin, where is he?" Scooter asked, looking around in the room.
"I'm right here," said Justin from behind. "Decent of you to show up at last" Scooter continued, smiling welcoming at Justin, which Justin gladly answered with his own gorgeous smile. Suddenly he gave me a devious smirk, too quick for anyone else to notice, and I frowned looking down. "Justin can you show Katy around, you know showing her the training center?" Pattie asked, making me look at her. "I'd love to" he replied, with an undertone of deviousness. He started to walk towards the door at the front of the bus, so I quickly followed after him.

We walked in an awkward silence towards something I'd guess was the training center and he finally decided to break the ice.
"I will show you the recording room first, I figured you need to work on that voice of yours" he said smirking, sounding like the devil himself. His words hit a soft spot, making me feel uncomfortable and I lowered my head, as usual. "Aw, did I make you sad? What a shame," I could literally hear the smirk in his voice as he continued. "You know, for a girl who claims that she can sing, you sure as hell acts like someone who's mute."

After a few seconds of hesitation I finally found my courage to say something back.
"Wh- what do you mean?" I asked, sounding super weak. A laugh escaped from his mouth, a perfect laugh, it sounded like a mix of different melodies. "So the mute girl can speak!Sadly, you failed, and stuttered. Why the hell would they pick you, to be the opening act of my tour?" He hissed at me, hitting that soft spot again.

I tried my best to ignore him, but he just wouldn't give up. "I mean, come on, thousands of people can sing, and then they picked you, a girl who has no musical talent at all, and who can barely even speak clearly." I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to keep myself calm, but I kept listening to his harassments. "They probably felt sorry for you, because of your family and all of that, it wouldn't surprise me if they just see you as another charity project." That one hurt, a lot actually. Justin noticed he hit one of them soft spots again, because he kept going on about my family and how they felt pity for me. "It's a shame though, they dying in an accident you should've been a part of." When he said that, something inside of me exploded, and I felt so extremely angry.
