Light

Light is a new beginning
Flowers bloom, plants blossom
Animals go out from hibernation
This is the light known as spring
Light is happiness
Children play outside joyfully
People and animals enjoy the warmth
This is the light of the sun
Light is beauty
There is nothing more magnificent than light
The warm red and orange hues of the sunset
The soothing green of leaves on a spring day
The bright colors of the flowers
The rainbow that comes after the rain
These are the colors made from light
True that light is all these things but I have my own light
The light that brings a smile on my face
The light that brightens up my whole world
The light that guides me through the dark maze known as life
This is the light of love
The love of my family and friends
Their hilarious, adorable or just plain fantastic stories
Their smiles and laughs brightening my day
Their support and advice that helps me through times of loss
When all hope is gone, there is always this bright light
The bright light that grows until I can see clearly
The light that nothing can outshine
This is my light, what's yours?
