Joeline's POV

"I'm particularly excited for this show. I have no idea why." I tell Harry who doesn't seem to be paying attention to me.

He doesn't even look at me when I tell him this. He looks straight ahead of him and doesn't give me any sign that he is listening.

"I'm gonna grab something to eat in the city before the show starts." I say to gain his attention. He told me he doesn't want me to wonder off alone especially with my dad out in these streets.

He turns to look at me and shakes his head. "There is food backstage."

"I know but I want to visit. I haven't been out since I got on that tour bus." I say

"Then wait on Nick." He says sternly.

"I'm not a baby." I frown.

His jaw clenches. "Like I said before, I don't want you to go out alone and certainly not around this time."

"You're being ridiculous." I roll my eyes and walk a little faster ahead to be away from him. I know it's childish but he's annoying me.

"Am I?" He scoffs.

"You are, now leave me alone." I say.

"Very mature." I hear him say but I choose to ignore it.

The boys were on stage performing 'last first kiss' and I was bored. I didn't expect this when Harry asked me to tag along. I may be pouting like a child right now but I want to go out and explore the cities we go to. I asked Nick to go with like Harry asked me to but he said he had to be here to escort the boys. Harry probably told him to keep his eyes on me because they haven't left me ever since I entered the backstage area. I'm getting sick of this.

I stand up and head to the toilet.

"Where are you going?" Nick asks.

"To the toilet Nick. Wanna join?" I ask with attitude.

"Sorry just checking." He says.

I sigh. "No I'm sorry, I shouldn't go off on you like that." I say. It's not because I'm angry at Harry that I should be angry at everyone. Plus he is just doing his job.

On my way to the toilet I see an exit sign. I look twice around me and then I run as fast as I can through the door without thinking twice about it. When the outside air hits me I inhale it slowly. Finally free.

I wasn't going to go far, just a few blocks down the street. During my lonely walk I saw a parc with a lake. It looked really beautiful at night with the moonlight shining through it so I decided to go take a look.

I get that Harry wants to protect me but I believe that my father would never want to hurt me. He may have left us but he wouldn't hurt his only daughter. Deep down I think he will always love me wherever he is.

I feel my phone vibrate in my packet, when I take it out I see an unknown number on it. I decline but it called again right away. I sigh and pick up.

"Hi Joeline speaking." I put on my best happy voice.

"Where are you?" I hear Nick say.

"Relax I just went out for a walk. I needed some air." I roll my eyes.

"And you didn't tell me why? I'm supposed to protect you Joeline." He says with an angry tone.

"Why are you being so possessive over me? Harry was overreacting! Everything is fine, it's not like someone is planning on kidnapping me or something."

He sighs. "Please just-just tell me where you are okay? You won't even sense my presence."

"A parc not far from where the boys are performing." I say unwillingly.
