"Babyyy, stop!", Jungkook giggled, falling back onto the couch, Hoseok crawling over him, running his fingers along Jungkook's stomach, making the younger giggle louder.
"Oh really? And just why should I do that?", Hoseok asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Because I'm gonna pee if you don't!", Jungkook squealed, squirming around to escape the tickles he was being tormented with.
"Oh fine, we wouldn't want that", Hoseok chuckled, pecking Jungkook's lips. Jungkook smiled and sat up, crawling into Hoseok's lap. He snuggled into him, kissing his cheek. Hoseok smiled and rubbed his back gently," What do you want for lunch, baby?"
"Panda Express!", Jungkook smiled.
"Okay, I'll be right back", Hoseok chuckled, kissing Jungkook's forehead as he got up, the younger falling onto the couch with a soft 'oof'. Jungkook watched as he left, sighing dreamily. He went to get up, wanting some water, when he noticed Hoseok left his phone. He picked it up to run it out to him quickly, but saw it was too late as Hoseok's car pulled away.
Jungkook smiled and giggled softly to himself at Hoseok's momentary lapse which caused him to forget something that was almost always attached to his hand, all just to go get him some food. He watched Hoseok's car until it disappeared down the street, his stomach rumbling at the thought of food.
Hoseok really was attached to his phone, but it was because of his job. He worked an office job as an assistant editor, the biggest job under his boss, whom he hated with a passion, and he had made that known to Jungkook.
As Jungkook sat down on the couch, Hoseok's phone vibrated with a call. Thinking it could be important and relating to Hoseok's job, he looked. He really wasn't the nosey type, just the helpful type... although it backfired on him.
He looked at the screen, frowning at the contact name. Who was 'TaeBae'? Was it a relative? A coworker, though that wouldn't make much sense. Utterly confused, Jungkook decided to answer the phone.
"Hello?", he asked after accepting the call.
"Oh, um, hi. Who is this?", an equally confused voice asked into the phone, male as well.
"This is Hoseok's boyfriend", Jungkook responded.
"I don't think I heard you right, what?", the voice asked.
"I said I'm Hoseok's boyfriend. He left his phone at home and-", Jungkook was cut off by the voice.
"You can't be his boyfriend", he said.
"Why not?", Jungkook asked with a frown. There was a pause of silence before a soft voice spoke.
"Because I'm his boyfriend", Just like that, both hearts of the voices on the phone cracked in half. Jungkook gulped.
"W-What?", he asked," Please tell me you're joking"
"I was about to ask you to do the same", The voice said softly. Jungkook let out a heartbroken sigh, tears coming to his eyes.
Within ten minutes, five to comprehend what just happened, five to talk, the two had agreed that the mystery voice would wait a half an hour before calling to break up with Hoseok, giving Jungkook the opportunity to do so first. With that, they hung up, Jungkook with tears still streaming down his cheeks.
He arose from the couch, phone clutched tightly in his hand, when he heard the door unlocking. Hoseok walked in with food a minute later, Jungkook not saying a word. He had puffy eyes, tear stained cheeks, fresh tears running down his cheeks every second, a hurt expression, and the phone in his hand.
"Babe! What's wrong?", Hoseok asked worriedly, setting the food by the door as he went to Jungkook, ready to put his arms around Jungkook's waist before being stopped. Jungkook smacked him hard and shook his head, backing away.
"If you lay a fucking hand on me, I swear I'll break your arm", he said lowly, his voice hoarse and scratchy from crying.
"What happened?", Hoseok asked, holding his cheek, before seeing the phone in his hand. He gulped softly, trying not to let it be known.
"You left your phone", Jungkook said numbly, looking up at him," What the fuck, Hoseok?"
"Jungkook-", Hoseok said softly.
"No! We've been together a year! A fucking year! Was that all bullshit? D-Did that mean nothing to you?", Jungkook asked, starting to cry harder as he talked," D-Do you not l-love me? D-Do I not satisfy you enough?"
"No, that's not it-", Hoseok started.
"Then what the hell is it?! Why did you need him?! Why am I not good enough?!", Jungkook screamed at him before stepping back," Get out of my house. Get the fuck out!"
Jungkook threw Hoseoks phone out of the door, watching as it smashed into one of the edges of the porch posts. It shattered on impact, making Hoseok grimace. When he didn't move, Jungkook forcefully shoved him out, slamming the door and locking it behind him.
As soon as Hoseok was out the door, his nearly destroyed phone began ringing. He answered it with a sigh and a wince, as the broken glass touched his red cheek, still stinging from Jungkook's slap.
"Hello?", he asked.
"We're fucking over", was all that was uttered before the line went dead. Hoseok groaned and threw his phone before angrily getting in his car and driving away.
Jungkook slid down the door as he sobbed, pulling his knees to his chest. After a minute, he got up, pulled all the curtains, turned on Thirteen Going on Thirty, and grabbed the food Hoseok got so he could eat his feelings for the rest of the night. Not wanting to be alone, he called Jimin. The phone rang a few times before he got an answer.
"What's up Kook?", Jimin asked.
"M-Minnie, I need you", Jungkook sobbed into the phone.
"Oh Kookie, what happened?", Jimin asked with a gasp.
"B-Breakup", was all Jungkook could get out before he burst into more tears.
"Oh honey, I'll be there in a few hours", Jimin sighed.
"Why not now?", Jungkook asked.
"One of my other friends just broke up with their boyfriend today too. I'm already at his house. I'll be at yours soon enough", Jimin said.
"O-Okay", Jungkook sniffled.
"Love you Koo", Jimin smiled softly.
"Love you too, MinMin", Jungkook sniffled again before hanging up and starting to eat his food, hitting play on the movie. Getting over Hoseok, his first love, was going to take a miracle.
On second thought, maybe all that's needed is a new friend and a craving for revenge.
