the exact reason to why she had never fit in...

It was now closing time and the diner had continued as normal, aside from the fact that Zoe shot out purple and green lights from her hands.

As she was still sat down, she was still looking at her hands, and as if on cue, Graham and Tracey, her parents with all the answers walked in. They saw her sitting, Mark, Alfie and Joe all stood by the counter looking at her.

'Zoe?' her mum asked since her daughter had stayed quiet

Tracey looked at the three boys, and they all said in sync 'Oh, yeah, right' and soon all scattered to the back, but still looked on through the open window, that looked in to the kitchen, and all watched.

Tracey slid into the booth with Zoe, and sat just across from her, as did Graham.

'Zoe honey, what's wrong?' she said putting her hands over her daughters, but Zoe pulled them back and into her chest. Tracey looked towards Graham.

'Zo, what's wrong?' he asked her, flashing a quick look towards his wife. Zoe still stayed silent, and held her hands together

After a few minuets of silence, Zoe looked at her parents with a wondering thought written on her face.

'Today, i was serving these girls, you know, the ones from school. Well, she asked me about what did we serve with no fat, no nothing' she said as though she was in shock but the wonder still on her face.

'I came at her with come backs, ones that i would of never have said before. and as a few minuets passed, she got up, as though to leave' she said with a little show od shock at the word stand up.

'But she didn't leave, no, she didn't leave, she grabbed a water jug, with juice, and walked over to me. she said something along the lines of ' i'd be wanting something to drink with my meal' and she tipped it over my head' at this point Zoe stood up and turned her backs to her parents who was looking worried but also intrigued and surprised at each other. Zoe continued to stroll towards the other side of the diner as she talked and explained

'I was waiting for the liquid to hit my head, so i quickly put my hands above my head, and then, i felt something come from my hand, and at that moment the jug flew back and poured all over her'

Graham and Tracey got out of the booth and stood up

'Honey that must have just been a coincidence' Tracey says putting her hands out and walked a couple of steps forward before graham pulled her back

'It's time she knew' Graham whispered to Tracey

'Knew what?' Zoe says turning round

'Graham, no not yet, it's not time' Tracey told him

'Tracey. It's Time.' Graham told her sternly

'Zoe, sit down' Graham told her calmly, she looked at him confused and slowly sat down across from him

'Zoe, we've-' he turned and looked at the boys who were still stood there, but they grab hold of some untensil pretending not to listen making Zoe giggle

'Oh that's what you meant' Mark says, fooling nobody

'Okay fine' Joe syas putting his hands up 'Come on' he says and they all walk round the back and take of their aprons before leaving

'Zoe, we've been keeping something from you. The thing is we're not just your ordinary family. Me and your mother are actually both..magic.'

'Wait what?' Zoe said baffled

'I, myself am a wizard, and your mother' he says putting his hand towards her 'Is a witch'

'So then that makes me a'

'Yes' Tracey said

'And that makes Joe'

'Yes' Graham said

'Oh, my God, how, why, what!?'

'Your powers hit in from a young age, when you find the power yourself, that will be up to you, and i'm guessing yours have just hit in, Joe doesn't know, nobody does and it is very secret you can't tell anyone, but you will have to study to become a full witch, even though your powers are there, your going to need your books, but Zo'

'Yes?' she said still in shock

'Just remember, use your powers for good. and always remember the power is inside of you, not a wand, not stick you find on the floor, not anything other than you'

So this is why i have never fit in, Zoe thought to her self...
