Chapter 5: Secrets

I look in the mirror and all i see is a mess. A messy sad mess, i'm so ashamed of who's looking back at me in the mirror. 

I quickly look at my phone i'm surprised it still works and on the lock screen is 

12 MISSED CALLS PAYTON

25 TEXTS FROM PAYTON 

5 MISSED CALLS FROM UNKNOWN 

22 TEXTS FROM UNKNOWN 

 I call the unknown number back curiosity taking over of not knowing who it is and there's silence on the other line until  i break the ice by saying
 "who is this?" i wait a couple of seconds till i hear
"Molly? is that you?" a slightly familiar voice asks 
 "yeah who is this?" i reply wiping the running mascara from my cheeks 
 "It's Anthony" now i know where i heard the voice
 "oh your the new boy?" i say with realisation 
 "yeah- look can you just come out please me and payton are at the mall and-" he suddenly goes quiet
 "hello??" i call out checking to see if he's hung up "Anthony?" i ask hoping for an answer
 "Molly i don't know what's happening somethings wrong with Payton he's shaking and he's on the floor and-" panic is clear in his voice
 "where are you?!" i ask collecting my stuff 
 "outside the mall!" i hang and run as fast as i can out of the mall.

I get out the mall and see Anthony panicking and Payton lying on the floor. He looks a mess i run towards him Anthony sees me and instantly moves out of the way and i grab payton up off the floor and hug him tightly feeling his heart beat. It's the only way to make it stop. 

As he starts to calm down i run my fingers through his hair while i whisper in his ear "Everythings going to be okay"
"i'm here now nobody can hurt you"
By this point there are tears running down my face 
" i'm so sorry Payton this is my fault" i look at him in the eyes and their all red and puffy and i just think i did that to him i caused this. He sees me crying and pulls me back into a hug and says "it's fine.. i'm fine you didn't cause this" he can read my mind i swear.

We both pull out of the hug and see Anthony awkwardly standing there so i pull him down until we're all sat on the ground and i say
 "look i'm sorry for running off like that it's just that girl back at school that wasn't me" they both give me understanding looks and we all stand up and Anthony says
"we should get you a new phone" with a laugh at the end and me and payton laugh as well so we head back into the mall and we get me a new phone. 

I ask the boys if they want to stay over and they both say yes so i text my mum and say 

Ma 

Hey mum could Payton and Anthony come over?

 Ma:  well no funny bussiness and who's anthony?

Me: Oh he's the new boy 

       Ma:  well okay then but Dylan has to stay aswell

Me: yeah yeah of course 

So we all go back to my house
