The chaos that is living in the underground | Chapter 11

Frisk and Y/n had decided to stay in the underground for the meantime. Well, It was actually Y/n begging Frisk to stay, but don't tell them I told you that.

Frisk and Y/n lived with Asriel and Chara. Frisk slept in the room next to the bathroom in the basement, The stairs to the basement underneath the stairs to the upstairs. Y/n slept in the attic. The attic door was located almost exactly above the space next to Chara. Y/n had taught themselves to get it open so that it didn't always have to be open when they weren't inside.

Asriel has decided to host a party because of their moving in. This of course made almost everyone in Snowdin, Along with the King, The ex royal guard members and the royal scientist, ALONG WITH SUPERSTAR, Undyne! Which meant all of Undyne's fans were outside.

Granting the socially awkward protagonist no escape other than to go to their own room. They bumped into a few monsters and awkwardly apologized. They went up the stairs where a few people were and tried not to make eye contact. They stood on the table right beneath their attic door and knocked softly on the roof. The door shifted a bit and slid open. The latter slide down. They tried to quietly climb, but the ladder made a soft creak that was quietly heard over the music. Y/n quickly climbed up the ladder and pulled it up. Hiding under their covers. When they weren't looking, Somehow, Chara had made it up into the attic, Going to Y/n's side.

"Y/n?" Y/n squeaked and went silent. Chara sat on the end of the bed. "You okay partner?". No response. "Aw, You're so good at fake sleeping you could probably do it with your eyes closed." Y/n giggled. "So, You wanna Tell me What's wrong?" "...Too many people in the same place..." "Ah, Forgot you were shy and socially awkward. If it makes you feel better I'll hangout with you in here until they leave." "No, You can go back to the party..." "Are you sure?" "Yeah." Chara sighed and pat Y/n on their now visible head. Chara went back to the party and Y/n hid under the covers again, realizing how cold it was in the room.

Y/n still felt warmth as they thought of the new life they had here underground. No people who judge you for breathing, more friends... and hopefully, Self confidence. Y/n fell asleep with a smile on their face even though they were partially freezing, Like the peaceful human they were.
