Chapter 3 - Rena Rogue pt. 2

"My plan is coming into action" Said Lila as she watched Chat Noir desperately fight the monster.

"Rena Rogue, Ladybug has called in some of her superhero friends. There's a reason I made you look and sound like Rena Rouge." Says HawkMoth as he telepathically speaks the the akumatized villain.

"Got it HawkMoth."

Meanwhile on the other side of town...

"Trixx, let's pounce!"

"Wayzz, shell on!"

"Thank you both for joining me. There's a girl named Lila who's been akumatized, she's not good news. Not to mention that sentimonster over there can you two handle it?" I ask my friends Alya and Nino, who have now transformed into Rena Rouge and Carapace.

"Yes Ladybug." Says Carapace.
"We've got this!" Replies Rena Rouge.

We jump onto a building where Chat Noir meets with us. "Chat are you okay?" I ask as he groans in pain.

"That monster's gonna be a tough one." He says.

"Don't worry Chat Noir, we're here to help." Says Carapace.

"Look our!" Yells Rena Rouge as a car comes flying towards the four of us.

"Shell-ter!" Carapace yells and a forcefield for a around us.

The car rolls off the building and crashes onto the ground.

"Thanks Carapace!" I say. "But now you only have a few minutes until you transform. We'll have to move quick."

"Milady maybe it's a good time to use your lucky charm?" Chat Noir Says.

"No, we need to figure out what this guy does first." I look around watching the monster carefully. Eventually he makes his way over to a crowd of people and his eyes become swirls. "I think he's hypnotizing those people. Don't look at his eyes!" I say and quickly look down.

"Why is does he need all those people!" Asks Chat.

"I don't know yet, but it has something to do with Lila." I say and try to find the hiding villain.

"I have a plan. Rena and Carapace, I need you to look for Lila. Chat your job is to get as close as possible. Try to cataclysm the monster. I'm gonna go find a way to keep people from looking at the monster's eyes." I explain my plan before everyone disperses.

"Lady..." Chat says as I'm pulling out my yoyo. I turn around seeing my friends worried expression. He takes a few steps closer to me. "I-if anything h-happens..." He starts to say grabbing my right hand and squeezing it tightly.

"Chat." I say looking away. He's never done this before... worried.

"I'm not joking. Ladybug... I love you. And I know I don't even know who you are, but I know you're someone extraordinary, and you're so special to me. I wouldn't be able to live life without you." He confesses his love to me.

He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I don't resist. He puts one hand on my cheek, and I put my hands around his neck, knowing what's coming next. He leans in and kisses me.

He slowly moves his hands back, embracing me gently. Her holds me, for once while being Ladybug, I feel secure, safe. "I-I love you too..." I say I'm the heat of the moment. He looks at me with his big green eyes, which have tears in them.

"D-Don't cry Chat. I'll be okay. I've fought plenty of villains." I reassure him holding both of his hands.

"Not like Lila." He says looking down. "She's stronger, slyer. She doesn't go for revenge, she goes for power. It give HawkMoth a seriously powerful advantage." He says with worry on his lips.

"Trust me Kitty. Trust me like you always have." I grab his chin pointing his face to face me. "Please..." I say desperately.

"Okay, I will." He gazes into my eyes. I feel connected to him in a way like I never had with Chat before, it's a familiar feeling. My heart beats stronger than it ever has before.

He finally jumps off. I stare down at my hands, which had recently been held by Chat Noir's. I look around trying to come up with an idea. I go towards a news truck, the recorders were already hypnotized by the sentimonster.

"Everyone! Whatever you do don't look at the momster's eyes! It's hypnotizing you!"

"She's wrong, listen to me, I'll sing you a song." The giant pulled out a flute similar to the one Rena Rouge had, and started playing a soft tune. I quickly plug my ears and look for somewhere to hide.

I call Chat Noir, informing him about the hypnotic music. He finds something to plug his ears, and continues with his task.

"Nino, you only have just a moment before you transform, hurry in the bakery, I'll help you get a snack for your Kwami." Said Rena Rouge and She leaded her partner into the Dupein Chang bakery.

"D-do you hear that?" Carapace questioned as a small flute tune played within the bakery. The two teenage heroes fall into a trance, as a girl with an orange suit and mask approach them from the back of the bakery, alongside her are Mr. and Mrs. Dupein Chang, who have also been lead into these lies.

"Well well, do we have ourselves a few visitors?" She crouches down next to them. "Wouldn't be a shame if I-" she reaches for their miraculouses, but before she can get to them she gets hit by a flying staff.

"Not so fast Lila!" Says Chat Noir as he summons his staff back to his paws. "I hate to paws your big moment, but aren't you supposed to be getting my miraculous?" He asks in battle position.

"Grrr! Get them! He's mine!" Rena Rogue orders her minions. The zombified couple grabs the two heroes, and drags them upstairs, while the villain prepares to fight. "Mirage!" She says and the room becomes black. False images of Lila fill the room.

"You'll never defeat me Chat Noir." Another image of Ladybug being held by the sentimonster appears. "Where's your poor little bug to save you now? Once I get your miraculous, it won't be hard taking Ladybug's." Says all of the illusions while chat stands firm, trying to find the right one.

Suddenly one of the Lilas from behind the male hero tries to grab his arm, but Chat Noir quickly extends his staff pushing the real Lila away and making the images disappear.

Lila is now passed out against the walls of the bakery. "Ladybug, I got her. The akuma is in her bracelet. Come get it." He says while on a phone with Ladybug.

She soon arrives at the bakery. "I used my lucky charm while fighting the sentimonster. It was this small chair." She holds a small red chair with black spots. "Bye bye little butterfly." Says Ladybug as she releases the captured akuma with her yo-yo. Then she throws the chair in the air and it changes everything to normal.

"H-huh? What? How did I fail!?" Yells Lila as she stands up and rubs her head.

"Pound it-" Ladybug almost Says, but is interrupted by Chat Noir grabbing her waist and kissing her. A flash and a click are heard from the distance, as a detransformed Alya and Nino watch the couple excitingly.

"Chat." Ladybug blushes.
"Milady." The flirtatious Cat looks smirks at his female friend.
