"Are you sure about this Sarah?" I hum nodding. Sasha huffs stuffing the keys in her pocket before following me out locking the door behind her. I fiddle with my fingers as we sneak up to the balcony. It was a little after midnight and I was making sure Sasha was with me.

I step up to the door pulling it open and I see Callan on the edge again. He's of course still puffing on a cigarette. It was a bit chilly out and I shake a bit. He flicks his ciagrette standing. He looks down at me even though he's still a ways away from me. My arms are folded across my small frame. I look up at him taking his coat off. "Here." He says wrapping it around my shoulders. I smile softly. If i hadn't known I brought Sasha I would think I was alone for as quiet as she was.

"Thank you." I whisper and he offers me a seat on the edge with him. I hesitate but nod eventually. I sit away from the edge some afraid of falling or being pushed. He takes a seat as well and it's silent for a bit. Eventually he speaks. "So I guess I have a lot to explain." I nod softly. "Well firstly every thing that happened upstairs that night no one knows about. That wasn't part of any plan. It just happened. Trust me I don't regret it I just wish i hadn't hurt you right after."

I let my tears well up in my eyes. "Why did you come over last night?" He huffs. "Blake sent me over to get the underwear but i never knocked because I never planned on going through with it. I was sitting outside that door trying to figure out what I was gonna do. I cried a bit thinking about how bad i hurt you and how Blake was gonna end up ruining ever chance I had."

I huff letting some tears roll down my face. "Why not just refuse to help?" He frowns. "They'd kick me out of the sorority." I scuff. "Guess that's more important than me...." He frowns. "Its not but I have no where else to go. Its not just you I'm hiding...." My heart sinks. "Oh..."

He face palms himself. "Not like that Sarah. You're the only girl. Its just....things that i dont want anyone knowing." He scuffs. "Blake offered me a place in the sorority no questions asked but what he says goes. My hands are tied." I frown. "What could be so awful that you would rather stay with Blake?" He looks down at his hands sighing. "Where the hell is he?!" He looks over the campus seeing Blake running down the stairs of his dorm. He jumps up pulling me with him. "I have to go before this ends bad." I frown and he cups my face kissing me roughly.

"I'm sorry Sarah." He says rushing away from me. I huff creeping up to the edge of the ledge slowly watching Blake yell Callan's name. I see him run from across the campus stopping in front of Blake. I see them argue about something before Blake storms off and in the darkness I see Callan glance over his shoulder up at me. I smile feeling a hand on my shoulder and I jump. "We should be heading in." Sasha says in a quiet voice. I sigh forgetting she was there but nod in response.

"Maybe he's Batman!" I die laughing nibbling on another fry as I sit across the table from Sasha. I shake my head. "His secret didn't seem that cool." I sigh. "Seemed more depressing if I'm honest. I worry about him Sasha. Hanging with Blake like that can't be good for anyone's health." She scuffs. "Looking at him isn't good for mine." We bust out laughing. "What's so funny? Been daydreaming about Callan again?" I look up to see Blake with a smirk on his face. "No was just looking at your IQ score. You know you should really stick to football you're lowest scoring game is higher than this." Sasha says with a chuckle.

He glares with a smirk. "Yeah well at least I'm not the stupid sophomore that thinks she's got a chance with the jocks." I laugh softly. "Didn't you just hear what she said you are the stupid sophomore Blake." He clenches his jaw. "Oh yeah well at least I'm not stupid enough to spread my legs and think a jock could love a lowlife like you." I feel my face gets hot and at this point the whole cafeteria was watching us. I look at Callan with tear filled eyes. His jaw was clenched and so were his fists.

I stood up hands clenched at my side and I swung. At that point I didn't care if I missed or I lost I was just so done. Everything I was told was a lie and it was all because of Blake. I connected my fist with his jaw and he stumbled back some. I swung again and again until he had fallen and I was still hitting him. I felt someone pull me off of him. I glanced over to see Sasha just watching and I looked up to see Callan holding me. I had tears running down my face and I jerked away from him. "Don't touch me." I said harshly before stomping away from him. He didn't follow. I don't think anyone did. Not even Sasha.
