Finding Nightmare

The following week Ink, Blue Dream and Nightmares gang had planned and gotten ready to look for Nightmare.

At The Star Sanses Base

Ink was upstairs getting a few things before they left then he came downstairs. "Ready?" Ink said with his hands on his bag. "We have been for 5 hours..." Dream said a little annoyed manly just cause he wanted to leave as so as possible to find his brother. "Dream, relax you know how Ink is." "I just wish we could have left a lot sooner!" Dream said, he was just feeling the worse then ever he was really worried about Nightmare. "Dream. I know you want to find him and your upset. But you can't take your emotions out on your friends, mostly don't take it on your self." Blue said with a comforting smile and put a hand on Dreams shoulder, Dream smiled back thanking Blue then left to head to Nightmares Castle to get the others in Nightmares gang. When everyone was ready to go they went to look for Nightmare. They searched for him every where Aus, Timelines and more but he wasn't there. They weren't about to give up though, they kept looking until.

In The Island Of The Stars

"Nightmare! Nightmare! Are you here!?" "Maybe he's not-" Dream cut Blue off and pointed in the forest and saw a skeleton that looked exactly like Nightmare, Midnight (aka Nightmare) looked at the others and he smiled and walked up to them. "Hi there!" Midnight said in a peppy happy voice "Nightmare?..." Dream said even though he knew it was Nightmare. Him and Nightmare kind of had a way of tell each other apart. "Nightmare? Nope! You were close though I am Midnight!" 'I know it's him... So why is he acting like this?...' "look you have to come with us"
"Oh no! I can't I have-" Midnight was cut of by a voice in the distance. "Midnight! Come on! We gotta head home!" Said Midnights older brother, Max. "Oh! I am sorry but I have to go, Coming!" Midnight said as he ran off. "Well better luck to-" "No, that's Nightmare it just that something happened to him. I know it's him, I can tell who is and isn't my brother." Dream said seriously. "How do you know?" Blue asked "I just do." "If it really is him, why didn't he know you?..." Ink asked, Dream stayed quiet and looked at his hand he didn't know why Nightmare didn't realize him. He wish he did but he didn't, the next day Dream had gone back to the same place they had found Nightmare. He had also been there again and he walked up to Dream. "Hello Again! Are you new around here?" "Why don't you remember?..." Dream had said out loud Nightmare looked at him confused but smiled again "I don't know what you are talking about, about if you and your friends are still around I am sure I can ask a place to stay for you all!" Dream was about to refuse but then he thought he could possibly learn why Nightmare was different so he had gotten everyone together and they all we're taken to a village. "Welcome to Island Of The Stars!!!" "Wow" Horror,Killer and Dust exclaimed in amazement. "This is were you live?" Ink asked amazed "Yep! Well I actually live in the sea that was my birth place, but I can visit the Island when ever I want! Because of my shell necklace! Cool huh!?" Midnight had said in a cheerful tone as he smiled. "Uh, yeah" Dream replied. The rest of the day went on with Midnight showing the others around. Later that night Midnight had showed them were they'd all sleep for however long they'd all be there. It was a shelter that was built by Midnight and his brothers. It was big enough for 10 people when really there was only eight who were going to stay. Dust, Error, Horror, Killer, and Cross, had all settled in there new rooms. Midnight had gone back to his underwater home. Dream sat on a chair and rubbed his head and Ink noticed. "Hey," Ink started to say "Not now Ink..." "Come on... You can't just mope around the whole time where here, or is it just Midnight?" "It's Nightmare! Not this cheerful, smiling...h...happy... B...boy...." Dream sighed and dropped his head on the table crossing his arms. "Your right... I can't do this... I just want my brother back..." "And you will! But right now we need rest we've had a long day" Blue had said as he took Dream by the hand. Dream blushed and nodded. The 3 had gone to there rooms and fell asleep. Down back in the sea Midnight had laid on his bed and was thinking until Mason swam next him. "Midnight, you alright you've been zoned out for the next 10 minutes" he said "Oh, sorry brother. It's just I was thinking about the new visitors today, one of them, Dream I believe. He thought I was his brother, Nightmare?" "Huh? Don't know him, that's weird. Maybe you should be careful around him he might capture you." Midnight turned and sat up looking at Mason. "Oh dear me! I hope not! I would be afraid... Not be able to see you all again would surely be the end for me." Mason laughed "Don't worry little brother, we wouldn't let anyone take you." "That's a promise!" Max added. Midnight Laughed along with Mason and Max.
