Nolan :)

Dylan's pov

My ceremony is today, Today I was becoming alpha of my pack and finding their Luna. I'm currently in my room with five different woman picking at my hair and clothes. Their all gossiping, talking about what old wolves do and I don't really have anything else to do but listen.

"The omega boy is ill and says he can't come" one of the maids whisper making me get up and walk out of me room.

Of course Nolan makes today about him, he always causing trouble. Goddess I just wanted one this one day where things could go right and according to plan.

I walk in to his room and he'd not there. If he was really sick why isn't he hear doing sick people things. 

But the smell is there. I don't know what it is but I'm drawn to it and my wolf yips in happiness when i come into contact with it. I smelt it on him yesterday, And was going to ask him about it but he wouldn't give me a strait answer he never did.

What is that asshole up to now.

If he does anything to screw up this day for me I will be pissed.

This day is not about him.

Goddess just let me have this day.

15 minutes before the ceremony. My hands are sweating and my mouth is dry. Was I ready for this, is this, is this the best for the pack.

Don't talk like that Henry snarls
You have done everything you can to prepare for this day. And you are not alone you have me you father a your Luna. He says the last slowly making my shiver at the thought of them. I am excited to me my other half. And mate that's something I'm also looking forward too

My dad is fixing his shirt when he looks at me.

"My son, you will be a great alpha and I am so proud of everything you have done. You have proven yourself time and time again. There is no one fitter to be alpha". He smiles pulling me into a bear hug.

"I love you to my boy". My dad showing affection was not uncommon. He was a kind alpha who was there for his pack. He was leader but also a father and everyone loved him.

I hope I can do that same for my people

"Look at my handsome boys". My mother coos walking into the room.

"It's time"

I nod and walk through the door and out onto the altar.

My pack was there standing up looking at me with proud eyes. I would give my life for these people.

I keep walking and stop in the the middle, my family follows me and stands behind me and my father and a pack elder stand in front.

"I thee Ezra Grant Duran, Bestow upon you the crescent eye pack. Will you Dylan Ace Duran except my power into you with the promise of protection, Love, and happiness for your pack."

"I thee Dylan Ace Duran, except Your power and in doing so I promise my packs protection, love, and happiness."

"I alpha of this pack, give you our power"

I feel a surge of power go through my body like I'm body and soul with everyone here.

I am the alpha.

Everyone in the crowd bows it submission.

And then the smell hits me

Orange and vanilla.

Mate Henry growls

but they aren't here.

I look at me dad pleading he will let me run to them he looks at and nods

Thank you all. I say and I go through the big mahogany doors stripping off my clothes and going it my wolf form and start following my nose.

Thats when I see 'sick' Nolan on his laptop staring at me with his big blue eyes.
