Joey Armstrong

Joseph Marcicano Armstrong born on February 28, 1995 is the drummer for Emily's Army/Swimmers, jazz band DDG Quartet (with Josh Berl, Xavier, and Seb Mueller, and the family band called The Boo with Jakob (guitar), Billie (bass), and Adrienne (vocals). Joey is named after Joey Ramones and also because it's a family name. Joey started drumming at age 4 and hopes to play drums for the rest of his life. His first drum set was a minute drum set, once he started showing his parents he was serious about it, he begged them for a real drum set, Joey got his first actual drum set for his 13th birthday. A Ludwig 4 piece drum kit. One of his favorite artists is The Clash. He also likes a lot of punk music, and even likes Taylor Swift. He listens to Taylor Swift before each show, according to an interview during Warped Tour. He has played soccer, lacrosse and track and field in school. He also played the drums in band. It is rumored his favorite color is or was orange, his favorite food is pizza and his favorite ice cream flavor is Toffee. Those were rumored. He likes the Oakland Raiders, Athletics, and Golden State Warriors. Joey has a younger brother named Jakob. He also has four dogs Rocky, Cleo, Mickey, and Mojo and currently lives in New York with cousin Paris Redpath, friend George Pappas, and apparently Max, Cole, and Seb sort of live there. Joey went to University of San Diego. (Nobody knows if he transferred or dropped out of college).
