Chapter 1

~~~~~Yukio's POV~~~~~
Mephisto is taking me to a possible new student's house to discuss their enrollment. I don't know who they could be that would make them important enough for the director to come to their home. In America no less. He hasn't told me a single thing about this person. All I know is that I'm supposed to do whatever I can to convince their parents to let them attend.

I stand behind Mephisto as he rings the doorbell and we're greeted by a woman who seems to be in her early twenties.

"Hi, I'm Johann Faust the fifth, director of True Cross Academy. I'm here to discuss Miss (Y/N) (L/N)'s enrollment in our program."

"Uh, hi, um, I don't really know what you're talking about."

"Ah, you see, (Y/N) sent in an application during November to apply to attend our school this fall. I know it's a little early to discuss these matters as the school year has only just ended, but we would very much like to have (Y/N) in attendance next semester."

"You can come in. Uh, just sit right here, I'm just going to get (Y/N) and my mom."

"Thank you..."

"(S/N)."

"Ah, yes, thank you, (S/N)."

I let out a sigh of relief as I assume (Y/N)'s sister leaves. There's something that's bothering me though.

"Mephisto, why do you need me here for this?"

"Mrs.(L/N) is tough to convince. I was informed of this in (Y/N)'s letter. They wanted to be sure they got in before trying to convince their mother to let them go."

"Couldn't you have just sent an email?"

"I'm not taking any chances, (Y/N) will be an important student."

"That brings me to my second question, why-"

"Sorry that took so long, this is my mother (M/N) and my sister (Y/N)."

My draw drops a bit when (Y/N) walks into the room. I wasn't expecting a girl, let alone one this attractive.

"It's no problem, hello Mrs.(L/N), I'm Johann Faust."

"It's nice to meet you, call me (M/N)."

Mrs.(L/N) turns to me as if just realizing I'm there and I figure I should introduce myself.

"H-hi, ahem, hi, I'm Yukio Okumura, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Damn it! Why did my voice have to crack? I've just met this girl and she's already laughing at me. Her laugh is really nice though.

"(M/N), I'm assuming you've been filled in as to why we've made this visit?"

"Yes, you want to enroll my daughter in your school."

"Correct, (Y/N) has been hand-selected from thousands of applicants by myself to attend True Cross Academy."

"If I may ask, where is this school?"

"True Cross Campus Town in Tokyo."

"As in Tokyo Japan?"

"Yes."

"I'm sorry Mr.Faust, but I can't afford to send my daughter to a boarding school in another country."

"No need to worry. Although she may not seem like the best candidate, (Y/N) has earned a full scholarship including free room and board."

"I can't send my daughter to a foreign country to go to a school I know nothing about."

"This is why I have brought young Mr.Okumura. You see, he's the first-year class representative. He has achieved the highest grades and test scores in his class, and has also been awarded a full scholarship. Mr.Okumura, if you would tell Mrs.(L/N) about True Cross."
