At around 8:00 the next morning, Yukio nervously knocks on your door. A moment later, you open your door.
"Oh, good morning Yukio. What are you doing up so early?"
"Good morning (F/N), and I could ask you the same thing."
"I conditioned myself to get up early Japan time over the summer. You?"
"I have to be ready to go to school in the morning soon."
"Did you need something?"
"Well, I was wondering if I could ask you more about angels and halfbreeds over breakfast this morning."
"Sure, but if you remember there's still a lot I don't know."
"You know more than I do."
"I guess that's true. I probably know more about angels and halfbreeds than anyone else you've met."
You follow Yukio to see breakfast already prepared for you by Ukobach. You sit down at the table across from the younger twin.
"First off, are your physical abilities comparable to Rin's?"
"Yes, I have heightened abilities and senses just as good as, if not better than, Rin's."
"How old were you when you found out about what you are?"
"My father knew something was different when I was born. He had a lot of knowledge about the supernatural. It didn't take him long to figure out what I am. He helped me hide the supernatural world from my family until I was about twelve. Before he died, he taught me everything there is to know about being an exorcist and then some. I already have everything about demons up in my head. He didn't know as much about angels, but he taught me what he could. When I was younger, he would take me out into this field and encourage me to experiment with my power, occasionally giving me ideas on how to use it. Around my eleventh birthday, we found I could summon weapons. He got me lessons on how to fight with them, and I progressed quickly. He also enrolled me in several self defense and martial arts classes so I could resolve situations without weapons, in case I couldn't summon them or there would be too much collateral damage. On days my family would visit my grandmother, she would teach me everything she knew about angels. Her knowledge was still limited, but it was better than my father's. When I was six, she asked why I was so interested and I showed her my wings. That's when she told me about my grandfather and gave me his ring. After my father died, my mother began micromanaging my life. I spent the most time with him, so I guess it was her way of coping. That made it harder for me to practice with my powers, but I managed. She kept me in everything my father had put me in and had me start gymnastics, ballet and violin as well. Her reasoning was that all my violent classes should be balanced with more lady-like activities. Gymnastics proved to be useful though. It made me better at dodging and such."
"Wow, you're part of a lot of things. It must be hard being so far away from your mom for the first time."
"Not really, don't get me wrong, I love my mother, but having every second of your life planned out for you is a little suffocating. I didn't really leave anything behind when I came here."
"That sounds rough."
"It was, but I'm already having a great time here."
"What weapons can you summon?"
"I can summon an angel bow from between my wings and a demon sword from chest."
"I understand the angel bow, but I'm curious about the demon sword."
"We don't really have an answer for that yet. Limited information on the whole "angel" thing."
"Would you mind showing me your weapons?"
