Ch.1 Let me give your heart a break~

Kurama's POV ~ Present time

"Come on Kit, you can't just sit around all day. You've got to get up. Tsunade has missions for ya"

He shook his head as he grumbled to himself, digging his head deeper into the pillow and covering himself with the blankets. Rolling my eyes, I threw the blanket off of him and straddled his lower half, towering over him. 

Running my clawed fingers through his hair soothingly, the way he likes it, lowering my head to whisper in his ear.

"Kit~ if you don't get up, you know what's going to happen"

Groaning again, he opened an eye. "But Kyuu~ its too early.... I'm tired"

Smirking at his pouting, I continued to caress his hair which he obviously liked as he wrapped his arms around my neck. Wanting to dag me down into the bed with him.

"Can't we just ditch and stay home today?"

Humming in thought, I admit that the offer was tempting. But I knew that it would be better for us to just do what the woman wanted, because if we didn't go now, I probably wouldn't let the Kit out of my arms for the rest of the day.....

As nice as that would be......

I have to honor our agreement.

If only for Naruto's sake.

"Sorry Kit. Hokage's order's, we gotta get going now"

Pouting once again, he puffed his cheeks and went to sit up. Pulling back from him I got off the bed and let him stretch before he finally got up.

"Alright, Alright. I'm coming already. Tell the old hag to keep her keep her sake in the bottle"

With another smirk, I scoffed, being able to imagine her getting so mad she drank all the contents and smashed the bottle into the far wall - Or maybe its just because its happened before?

Heh, whatever.

Turning on my heels I went into the kitchen, there was still leftovers from when I made breakfast earlier. He'd have to settle for that since he didn't wake up the first 5 times I've called him.

Che. Lazy-Ass. - But that's one of the reason's I love him so much.

Coming into the kitchen, I'd already heated it for him.

"Aren't you gonna have anything?"

Scoffing again, I handed him the plate "Baka, I already ate. You woke up late remember, not me"

He glared at me with narrowed eyes, knowing it was true. There was no hate behind it, simply his annoyance. I probably shouldn't tease him, but its just too much fun.

Rolling his eyes, he finished the leftovers of breakfast and started talking with his mouth ful.... mentally sighing, he really needs to learn some manners.

"So wphut kind o misssions awe we doing today?"

"Idiot, don't talk with your mouth full. And we're going on a delivery run to Sunagakure for Tsunade, there's an important scroll she needed to give him. I wasn't paying attention to what kind it was"

Eyes narrowed in even more annoyance, he swallowed the rest of his food while chugging a glass of water to make sure it all went down before pointing an accusing finger in my direction.

"I hate it when you comment on MY eating habits, when you're the one whose worse than me!!"

Chucking to myself, I shrugged it off. Knowing full well that He just didn't like being corrected.
