Emily went out of her bedroom and before she made her way to the kitchen, she knocked on Brahms' door in order to wake him up. He didn't respond and she thought he might be still asleep. This time, she knocked harder and opened the door carefully. Emily looked inside and wanted to greet him
with a ,,Good morning" but she ended up staring at an empty bed.
,,He already woke up ? That's weird. Normally he's a sleepy head ... Well, whatever" she said to herself.
Emily went downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast for both of them. She opened the fridge and took all the ingredients she needed to make scrambled eggs. While cooking, she danced around and sang along to the radio. They played her favorite song ,,Shape of you" and she had no chance to resist the urge of singing and dancing along to the melody.
~Boy, let's not talk took much. Grab on my waist and put that body on me. Come on now, follow my lead, come-come on now, follow my lead~ she sang.
Her hips moved around and she made matching movements to the music and a wide smile was on her face. But that smile disappeared immediately when she turned around and saw a certain person leaning against the doorframe with crossed arms across his chest. She stood there in shock and felt a cold shiver run down her spine and her voice wasn't working anymore. She blushed at the thought of him watching her dance like that. He stared at her with an amused gaze and even though he has a mask on his face, Emily could literally feel that he was grinning. He said nothing and just continued to look at her. Oh god, that silence was killing her.
Embarrassed, she tried to act as calm and normal as she can but Emily has never been talented at pretending, acting or lying. Finally, she kind of managed to get her voice back and stuttered :
,,G-Good morning Brahms ..."
,,Good Morning Emily"
,,Uhm ... How long have you been standing there ?" she asked hesitantly, trying to hold eye contact
with him.
,,Long enough" he chuckled with his deep voice.
Both of them didn't move an inch. While Emily struggled to look him in his eyes, Brahms inspected her from top to bottom. Time passed by when Brahms finally moved. Still his eyes on her, he slowly walked up to Emily. Her hands and legs were trembling. Nervousness clearly written on her face as Brahms soon stood in front of her. He was close ... very close. Every time she took a step back, he followed right after. His porcelain mask was just a few inches away from her face and Emily gasped when she was trapped between the wall and his body. Brahms was very tall and Emily didn't dare to look up at him, so she looked straight forward. She stared at his broad chest and blushed in embarrassment. She always got nervous in excitement whenever he looked at her with his wild, predatory eyes and right now he gave her exactly that stare that could make her knees go weak. Emily thought of a way to escape but before she realized it, Brahms placed his hands on each side of her on the wall to trap her. He bent down a bit and Emily hesitantly looked up. Brahms closed the space between them even more until their noses touched. Emily felt ... weird but not in a bad way. Was it even the right word to describe it ? She didn't feel disgusted or unpleasant. Actually, it was the other way around. She felt comfortable, warm and protected. Emily didn't admit it though but the way she reacted to his touch showed him how much she craved him. Brahms chuckled through his mask with a low and husky voice. It sent shivers down her spine at the sudden change of his voice and she got more aroused after each passing second. She didn't have time to think about anything else anymore when Brahms moved his hands to her waist to pull her into a soft kiss. She closed her eyes as her lips touched the porcelain mask. He closed his eyes as well and Emily raised one of her hands to dig it into his dark brown locks and the other hand rested on his chest to feel his quickened heartbeat. Emily could feel the warmth of his lips through the mask but she desperately wanted to feel his real ones. A part of her really wanted to take his mask off and to kiss his his lips. She wanted to see his face but she knew painfully well that Brahms would never show his face to anyone. Not even to her. Emily often asked herself how his face looked like. The only thing she knew was that Brahms has scars but that's it. Maybe he's insecure about how she will react when she sees his true face. But her feelings for him would never change ... She didn't even know what exactly she felt for Brahms but she was pretty sure that it was more than a simple friendship but Emily was too stubborn to admit it. She would always deny everything when it comes to love for example that she might fell in love with Brahms. Was she even aware of the fact that she fell for him ? Probably no, since she doesn't pay attention to what her heart says. Her brain says ,,no" and her heart says ,,yes" but as soon as Brahms touches, kisses or looks at her, her heart always wins. She truly wanted him and Brahms would soon have her completely to himself ...
