It's tough dealing with family issues.
I struggle with this the most. If you're going through this, I can't guarantee I or anyone but God can fix it. Sometimes I just can't take it. Do your best to do what God tells you to do. I've made a lot of mistakes and just today, I've walked out on them a few times.
If someone in your family tries to make you pity them, unless dealing with them messes with your faith, try to comfort them. If it messes with your faith, however, just run. I usually go ride my bike to calm down.
People are tough to deal with. I've tried.
My only word of encouragement is to set your eyes on Christ. Christ and Christ alone. Set your eyes on him alone. Know that if you take your eyes off of him, chaos begins to take over.
Surrender to the Prince of Peace and allow him to direct you.
